  1. I fairness to Spurs they are either wonderful or woeful, never something in between. I've every confidence in them being wonderful today, it's their Xmas present to us all.
  2. The Fulham flat back five is effective though, we can expect to that in our next game. Arsenal not creating much, they only look dangerous at corners.
  3. Palace 2 - City 2 Interviewer: What did you think of Neco Lewis being sent off? Pep: That's Nico Lewis. The Viewing Public: ?
  4. 11 + 4 +15 = 29? How much do you charge for Tax Returns? Forget accountancy, I could use a an astute mathematician.
  5. Only played twice for Celtic!, you do surprise me. Anyway, I hope we give him a chance, even if only as a sub, Doak is exciting to watch.
  6. It's true Doak didn't look fantastic for us but was impressive for Celtic and hasn't looked out of his depth in recent international appearances for Scotland. Next year he's worth playing as an impact-sub, if he doesn't deliver we can sell him for a decent profit. That said, with his pace and ball control he has a good chance of making it in the Prem.
  7. Spot on Pal. R5 just said they have now scored 22 goals from corners since start of last season. Far more than any other team.
  8. How is Robbo doing? He's the only player not to be mentioned in the first half.
  9. https://matchcentre.liverpoolfc.com/?utm_medium=push-notification&utm_source=lfc-mobile-app&utm_content=lfc-mobile-app-push-notifciation&utm_campaign=med-lfc-mobile-app-push-notifcations&utm_proposition=lfc#/storage-changed Can't copy & paste the above but Q at RB, Trent excluded to protect him after his recent injury.
  10. Seems to be Q at RB. Reading a Slot comment as the laptop conked out. I'm sure that's what he was quoted as saying.
  11. Sky Sports reporting Isak hasn't trained and is a doubtful starter. Not that it matters, we'll beat them anyway.

  13. If? It's “when” surely. Have to admire Macca, he never gets booked for dissent, abusing officials or removing his shirt. It's always for accidental miss-timed tackles, unfortunate fouls, regrettable obstruction or borderline assault. He didn't win the world cup with Argentina by accident. The man's a credit to club and country.
  14. Live football is so strange. Jurgen Klopp complained about the atmosphere in his early years and was forever trying to energise the support with his extrovert gestures. Arne Slott is a quiet unassuming individual yet the crowd go nuts with him in charge.
  15. Luv it. 1 minute 35 secs. Man City are keeping Mo salah waiting, and what does he do? Mo Salah is playing, "keep me up." 1 minute 36 secs. The roar of the crowd. Sky Sports biggest crime is televising live matches a few minutes after a BBC R5 broadcast. Commentary at it's finest.
  16. From the Newcastle Forum, next match thread. More gay-rape jeopardy than a football forecast. This is going to be like watching 11 suicide cases trying to fight two tigers and a polar bear. Annoyingly I think a few players will show up for this, but it will be to no avail after Liverpool are given a ridiculous decision. Time to lube up. 1-5 Liverpool A royal bumming. We will perform better here than we did against Palace or West Ham. We are generally fine against teams that want to play football against us, we will see at least a few of those valuable attacking transitions that this team was built for. We'll probably win since we're the underdogs. Realistically, a 0-3 c**k f***ing is on the cards. Just get the feeling we’re gonna get absolutely dicked. They're too consistent these days and we usually do poorly against them anyway. Can't see anything but a convincing loss. I was gonna ask will Liverpool go in raw or at least provide lube. Least they could do. 0-6 and our goalkeeper will ask for a transfer after the game Hate this fixture even when we’re playing well. It’s like they have a curse over us and it feels like we’re never going to beat them ever again no matter how well we play against them. Coupled with how s*** we’re playing at the minute, I can’t see anything but a hammering. If Isak is fit then I think he needs to stick with the same starting XI again to try and get some continuity going. It's a side well suited to counters which is what we'll likely play. Gordon has been doing my nut in for the last 2 games but if there's a game he's going to perform in then it's this one - I fancy him against Robertson as well. If it's another no-show then drop him on the weekend. Hopefully, Joe & Jo have proper boots on. If they're on form then they could really help to lock down their right. still not fully over this fixture last season . we had them where we wanted them and they were there for the taking . Miggy hitting the woodwork twice was so unlucky, including Alisson save of the season . needed that second goal to kill them. probably never have as good an opportunity to smash them and now feels like they could smash us. Think just avoiding getting massacred is a good result. Would be happy with 0-2. Gonna get dry humped up the tea-towel holder by these bin-dipping, scummy f***s Oddly enough, this is just about the perfect time to play them. They are smashing everyone, no one is going to expect us to get anything, no pressure on the players. They should relish the opportunity to make the critics eat their words. But Isak seems the only one who can score goals against them so unless Howe is ready to unleash Wilson, the lads might not fancy it as much as they could do. Even if we were a good, their attack is frightening. We are gonna get bummed. Comment: f***ing hell lads, Southampton gave them a decent game last week. They’re hardly 1970 Brazil away from home. Response: They won't need to be though. We're weak as piss at the minute. We'll be steamrolled on Wednesday. An early goal and we might just capitulate. Our attitude/mentality is all wrong at present. Conceding that last minute goal yesterday will be so damaging. Please God I'm wrong but I've seen it a hundred times. Yeah, we're going to get humped on Wednesday. Massive gulf in quality. Want to be optimistic, but their pace up top will just destroy our CBs. Coupled with the one twos around our flat midfield, it’s going to be tough. Only success relies on them being off it with finishing and final ball, and us being clinical. Which none of this season points too. They might have to arrest the entire Liverpool team after the game for GBH. I don’t think I want to beat a team more than these, including Sunderland. Comment : Happy with a 0-2, come on man they're not invicible Response: Only one of the best teams in the world, still - they’re no West Ham though. Comment: No one in the Liverpool team scares me bare Salah tbh ,Its our performances that are the problem and i truly think we need to change formation as the 4-3-3 has been worked out i'd even bring back miggy or murphy to give us the energy we lack Response: No but there’s plenty in our team that scare me at the minute
  17. Chin up Pal it was a fluke result, Man U won't win 4-0 every week.
  18. Everton cutting through MU with ease apparently before Rashford scored the first goal. Now 2 up. Per R5.
  19. Earlier today Sky Sports broadcast Frank Lampards introductory speech to his Coventry squad. Talk about tedium in the media age, it made Keir Starmer sound like Churchill after a bag of coke for breakfast. Coventry are doomed.
  20. “Thought Bellingham worked his a*** off...” I thought he looked tired and couldn't cope with our pace and intensity. “He did some incredible bits of play....” I obviously missed them all. Can you give one or two examples? “Still gutted he didn't come to us as he is physically perfect for his role.” Which of our midfield three would you have replaced him with? “But f*** him...” Agreed.
  21. Asked if he knew the extent of the injuries, Slot said in his post-match press conference: “No, not yet. I know where they have pain, but how bad or how good it is is difficult to judge so close after the game.
  22. Man Citys last seven results analysed as won, drawn, lost are: 1-1-5.
