  1. Fabregas and Alonso were Spain's best players imo.
  2. Erm no i wouldn't kid. Pipe down.
  3. It was a blatant pen i'm afraid, Neill lost his head.......not the first time. Ozzies didn't do enough when Italy went down to 10. Italy deserve to go through for me.
  4. Not just about that when you are full back though is it FFS. And he han NOT been Englands best defender.
  5. Again, remind why Carra should continue as RB?

    Alves

Brinkmanship from Rafa. Can't see us not getting him tbh.
  7. Sorry, still can't read anyting in your rant to suggest why Carra shouldn't be dropped. If you think he's played well then you're wearing your rose tints. Beckham's "roaming" wasn't our undoing against Sweden it was defending set pieces. I think you'll also find that Ecuador's attaks mainly come down the right and their left side is weaker, so it makes sense to have a more attacking full back on our right side.
  8. Why cos Carra's been dropped? Like it or not by his own high standards he's been pretty sh*te at RB, albeit playing out of position. Fact is he's not an international full back. Defending has been ok, not great, but going foward and more obviously, his distribution has been poor. I'm not saying Hargreaves is the answer but Carra has not done enough to keep his place at RB imo. Moaning about Beckham's place is futile. He's the captain and won't be dropped.
  9. I can understand that to a certain extent although i've thought that Carra's place was most vulnerable in the team after the last couple of games. Hargreaves is very mobile and seems to be able to defend well (not as good as Carra mind) but will get forward and distribute the ball much better. He's not an international full back either but i can't say i'm surprised by the change.
  10. sorry lad but methinks your brain is biased scouse. He's a legend at Anfield but has underperformed at RB for England - its never been his strong point going forward. He's a defender first and foremost - and a f*ckin good one, but lets not bullsh*t ourselves, he aint an international full back.
  11. Not sure tbh. Not seen enough of him there
  12. sorry but carra has been pretty sh*te (particularly going forward & distribution). Not his fault, he's just not an international full back.
  13. Couldnt have hoped for a better Xmas and final run in
  14. Thats the local rag so should be accurate.

    It'll be £8M rising to £12M i guess
  18. Minority certainly not majority. Similar to the fans who embarrass our club by singing Munich, Shipman, anti semitic at Spurs etc.
  19. How can you honestly guage the attitudes of the majority of match going fans from going to 3 (correct me if i'm wrong) games?
  20. Cisse injury to open door for Bellamy bid Jun 9 2006 By Ian Doyle, Daily Post Craig Bellamy in action for Wales DJIBRIL CISSE'S injury nightmare could pave the way for Liverpool to move for Craig Bellamy. Cisse was yesterday ruled out until at least November after suffering a broken leg during France's final World Cup warm-up game against China on Wednesday night. Rafael Benitez was planning to fund moves in the transfer market with the anticipated £8million from the sale of Cisse to Marseille or Lyon, with talks reaching an advanced stage mere hours before the unlucky striker's horrific injury. But with the 24-year-old having undergone an operation to repair the broken tibia and fibula in his right leg, it has ended any hope of Liverpool selling the player during the summer. Now Benitez must realign his sights as he seeks to bolster his striking department with the capture of two new forwards after Fernando Morientes's departure to Valencia last month. Feyenoord's £10m-rated Holland international Dirk Kuyt is the Liverpool manager's first choice, followed by one of Darren Bent, Jermain Defoe or Bellamy. But with both Bent and Defoe having been handed similar price tags to Kuyt, Bellamy, available for £6m due to a clause in his contract, represents the best value. Liverpool have until the end of July to trigger the clause, after which Blackburn can place their own value on the player. The Ewood Park outfit are aware of possible Anfield interest in their most saleable asset and are ready to offer Bellamy an improved contract to persuade him to stay. However, the Wales international is a boyhood Liverpool supporter and would jump at the chance of a move to the FA Cup winners. ********Further down in the article******* Benitez is confident Daniel Alves will become a Liverpool player in the near future, although Sevilla must significantly drop their £12m asking price for that transfer to become a reality.
  21. Not as tedious as having a fat w*nk everytime someone mentions information from another site
  22. Ignore it then
  23. I can. Bellamy was a risk for Blackburn, if it had gone t*ts up for him £6M would probably be about right, and there wouldn't be many takers either.
