  1. Said before I'm not trying to defend Hodgson and I don't think he's anywhere clsoe to being the right man for the job. Just trying to be a bit more objective about this season, there seems to be a lot of people of here who think we have the right to be challenging for the league 'just because we are Liverpool'and its delusional b******s, especially with this squad and manager. My previos post(s) were'nt meant to be a dig at Rafa, maybe I wasnt clearwhen I wrote that post, but I'd had a fair amount to drink after Stoke as im sure you can appreciate
  2. £15M to Bayern and I'd bite their hand off, £25M to City of course.
  3. You could almost see it when he walked in to a crowd of boo's. Bottled it straight away. Thanks for the link too, much appreciated.
  4. Yup, about 3 or 4 am though
  5. Yeah your probably right, I'm at f***ing wits end with this club these days. I dont want Roy, and then I dont want Kenny anywhere near this situation. I don't want Roy to have a f***ing bean to spend come January but im 90% sure he'll still be here, though if we dont sign at least 1 decent player im worried we'll lose one of this best strikers in Europe for half his value come May.
  6. Agreed, the next two months are crucial for the sake of the squad. Let's hope NESV have the b******s to make a decision before then and not March / April.
  7. Wasn't trying to put him on Rafa's level, explained that in a previous post, just trying to be a bit more objective.
  8. Wasn't the intention of the post mate, and you are right it is puerile to compare managers I was trying to focus on the results and the team in general. The second part of your sentence is spot on, Hodgson isn't the right man for this club and I'd be loathe to chuck £20M his way if I was NESV. It's a case of who to bring in, can anyone realistically see Kenny turning this season round? As I said though, I fear if we don't spend in January, and spend well, then Torres will be packing his bags before February.
  9. I'm more worried that if we don't spend then we can more or less guarantee to lose Torres and maybe others at the end of this year, but then again I wouldn't give Roy more than 50p at present.
  10. Our worst League start in over 50yrs? Can't argue with that, it's been dismal, we are however only 3 point off 5th despite this and the loss today. Dinosaur and Cowardly Tactics? No change there. Shocking defeats to Northampton, Blackpool and now Stoke? Yep. f***ing awful, but last year was no different, every team has a shocker once or twice a season, and you can hardly call Stoke a shocking defeat away from home. Plenty of top sides have been turned over there. Blaming everyone but himself for our performances on the pitch? As opposed to events off the field within the club and the owners? Attacking and not defending his players in the media? Bizarre that one, don't know what Roy is playing at with his media tactics, hoping it's some form of reverse psychology. One of the worst away records in the Premier League? Can't really judge him on Fulham alone, he has a better squad at his disposal here and two-thirds of a season left to work with them, though its clear it needs sorting and double f***ing quick.
  11. We got one point from these two fixtures last year and were f***ing dire in both games, what's changed?
  12. To be fair he hasn't had a touch or a decent pass in him for more or less his whole career

  14. Go to Oslo, you'd do well to get a half for £5.
  15. They aren't easy places to go and win was the point I was making, stop all the ridiculous hyperbole ffs you sound like a child.
  16. Me either, just don't think we should be expecting 6 points from two pretty tough away games. Stoke especially. No easy games in this league and all that...
  17. Since when are we unbeatable? We got one point out of a possible six last year in these two fixtures.
  18. How about this little beauty?
  19. I was too, but he worked his b******s off shutting their full backs down and left Torres to do what he's good at. Great first half performance from both of them.
  20. Arsenal find talented kids and pay them the earth to join, hence why they have an enormous wage bill (3rd or 4th highest in the leagueif I recall). If one of these kids doesnt pay off they may have paid around £5M to sign the player and another £3M-£4M or so in wages developing them. It's not the brilliant business model everyone seems to think.
  21. Can't be that bad down there, Dwanny Dwyer ain't been for a look raaaahnd the manor yet.
  22. http://www.threematchban.com/quiz/quiz-guess-the-manager-from-their-classic-football-sticker Guess the manager from their old panini-style sticker
  23. Yep, looked tidy on the ball the majority of the game, tired toward the end but he should be pushing for a start soon.
