It didnt need to. His desire, energy and willingness to win the ball back and close down space for us, was very significant for our overall game today. Different players will bring different things, he obviously has his flaws and areas that need improvement, but none of that takes away from the good things he did - and there were plenty of them today. Agree with that, but what he brings isnt going to be goals or flair/creativity, and asside from the high pressing, the final third isnt where he'll do his best work or where he should be played, for me.
