  1. Cheers lads for the help, especially Lost Boy, who gets the 'best helper' award and a gold star.
  2. I might do if i had the faintest idea where i was going. I know the way to Anfield, from the M62...and that's about it
  3. You're just a walking helping hand, arent you?
  4. How long is it likely to take to get to Lime Street via cab after a match, given all the traffic and chaos surrounding the ground? Would it be realistic to catch a 5:48pm train on a Saturday after a 3pm kickoff, or would that be asking too much? I know Lime Street is only a couple of miles from Anfield, but if you get out the ground by 5pm, by the time you've got a cab and got through the traffic, 5:48pm might not be a realistic prospect. Also, would it be best to pre-arrange with the cabbie to meet me somewhere by the ground after the game, or is there somewhere i could just get a cab from afterwards, without pre-booking it? Cheers in advance.
  5. The new fixtures are published on June 17th. Fact.
  6. There was a slight difference there, against Reina, Nolan lifted his leg up and used it to block Pepe's path.
  7. And played 4 extra games to do it.
  8. Given that no runner up has ever got 86, every PL winner would still have won it with 86.
  9. Maybe if it was LFC player of 2009. Didnt do enough in the first half of the season.
  10. Has to be Gerrard, he shouldnt suffer just because he's set huge standards for himself. Best goalscoring season ever, no doubt he should get it.
  11. Reina, Alonso, Mascherano, Torres, Gerrard, Kuyt, Carra, Arbeloa, Yossi.
  12. Yes, only 90 mins.
  13. Oh great. They might as well field that Ched Evans, or whatever his name is. They're a club with about 8 first team strikers, 6 of which are gash.
  14. Ah yeah, you might be right on that one. I wondered why i havent seen him playing of late. Who else have the useless twits got to play up front?
  15. If it's a choice between the two options, i'm not fussed about the injuries, i'd just like to see the blue mancs win. Both would be jackpot.
  16. They did. But this time it matters to us. A lot. So they'll roll over. Plus, winning twice in a row at Old Trafford is not part of the Manchester City ethos.
  17. Hoping for a Barca win, and then a Messi masterclass in Rome.
  18. City actually have the necessary ingredients to win on Saturday, if they actually put in a performance. Dunne, Bridge, Kompany, Richards and Given are capable of making it difficult for the red mancs, while going in the other direction, the likes of SWP, Ireland, Bellamy and Robinho are decent enough to threaten. Not getting my hopes up, cos they'll probably roll over. But in terms of having what it takes, they actually do.
  19. Funny cos it's fecking true.
  20. It's always the same, i noticed this a while ago. Their mantra is 8 men protecting their box and leaving the 3 forwards to do the damage. The whole 'attacking machine' stuff is just bullsh1t.
  21. Not sure about that, i dont think Dowd pulled out the red card until he'd run over to Barton.
  22. Perhaps if legitimate goals werent ruled out for no reason, we'd have less draws.
  23. DJS

    Howard Webb

The point though, is that TODAY is a game where they could've (should've) lost. They didnt however, thanks to the ref. Same will probably happen at Boro next weekend, if the mancs need a helping hand.
