  1. Thats because he worked his b*llocks off today.
  2. Yep he's sh*t. Sell the f*cker.
  3. I take it all back son, i take it all back.
  4. Is Sissoko actually playing. He's been s***. And by the way we are awful. Lots of possession but not creating anything.
  5. Its a good job we were playing on Sunday then.
  6. Oh come on. Granted last season Xabi did not reach the heights of previous seasons but to say he goes missing is utter sh*te. Xabi is always looking for the ball, always involved and looks to get stuck in at every opportunity. That is not a sign of a player who has a "tendency to go missing in games". F*ckin hell man lighten up.
  7. Ah and Maureenho is really f*cking bold isnt he. With the amount of talent he has at his disposal Chelsea are more boring to watch than we are. F*ck Arsenal have inferior players and they play 10 times better football than Chelsea. Maureen's tactics are to put men behind the ball, beat teams into submission then hit them on the break. Hardly bold tactics. You can make a case for Fergie and Wenger but to say Maureen is more adventurous than Rafa is a load of sh*te.
  8. The one player I would take is Rosicky. Not interested in the others.
  9. Hit the nail on the head. Rafa always targets the Spanish league for new signings before moving on elsewhere. Given that the Spanish league will finish today, the transfer policy of the spanish clubs is most likely to hinge on their respective final league placing. Therefore they are unlikely to negotiate the sale of any of their players until the season has finished as this can be a distraction for the players which could affect their performance. I think we need to calm the f*ck down until all the leagues have finished. I have complete confidence that we will make at least two big signings from the spanish leagues. We only need two more players, a left winger and a striker. F*ck let Utd spend what they like. Their big spending is most likely to rule them out of further big money signings. Chelsea will now doubt offer a ridiculous amounts of money, arsenal will probably offload Henry in exchange for a few players of one player (Eto). That still leaves plenty of options.
  10. Feckin Spanish League. Take their winter break away from them so they dont have to finish the season so late. It is a nightmare for us.
  11. To be honest as a supporter Rafa constantly venting his frustrations in public is starting to annoy me. He needs to tone that down a bit. Despite this I think he is the best man for the job. The owners should realise if they dont already know this. One final point, it really p*sses me off when people compare our spending to the likes of Utd and Chelsea. Last year Utd spent £18m on Carrick while we spent £6.7m on Pennant, £6m on Bellamy and £9m on Kuyt. The combined cost of these three players amounted to £21.7m. £3.7m more than Utd paid for Carrick. Bear in mind that they also purchased Evra and Vidic the year before for a combined fee of around £13m while have been trying to build a squad let alone spend big money on first team players. If the owners release money I am sure Rafa will spend it wisely.
  12. I agree we should be ready to pay £18m when Utd paid £18m for Carrick and £20m for Hargreaves. But it would still leave a bitter taste as he was worth no more than £10m when we took him on loan.
  13. To be honest I would take the article with a pinch of salt given that the writer thinks we purchased Lucas Leiva for £6m when I am sure it said we paid £10m. Even if it is true, I am still worried that people are quoting a range of prices. I will be mightly p*ssed off if whoever negotiated (Parry?) the loan deal did not agree an option to buy clause.
  14. It is going to cost us £18m apparently as quoted in the Liverpool Echo. Where the f*ck do they get these figures from. First it was £10m and now its £18m. Jeez. What next?
  15. I think we have to take the quoted figures with a pinch of salt. The club may be deliberately engineering this so that selling clubs dont think we have a bottomless pit of cash and start quoting silly figures. I wouldnt be surprised if we end up spending close to £60m in the summer on 4 new players with two or three going the other way.
  16. You make a goog point Fred but the fact that Alonso made a clumsy tackle shows that tackling is not his weakest point. Mascherano would have done far better in that situation. Alonso has great all round ability but his tackling is very limited. Last night his lack of proper tackling cost us the game.
  17. Proud of the team? In the first half yes and then Alonson f*cks things with the most clumsy tackle you are ever likely to see. And then he wonders why he gets dropped. Second half not 100% satisfied. Covered a lot of ground but achieved f*ck all. Gerrard should have scored. When Gerrard had a chance near the end and the ball broke loose to Alonso. What does he do. Kicks it in to touch. F*cking c*nt.
  18. I am sorry to put a dampener on things but with all this chaos going on with the tickets only means one thing.... WE ARE GOING TO LOSE TONIGHT! BIG TIME. I can guarantee it now.
  19. I think if we had Garcia and Aurellio fit then we would have played the following formation and would have had an excellent of winning: Reina Finnan Carra Agger Aurellio Stevie G Alonso Masch Riise Garcia Crouch/Kuyt As it is we have less than 50% chance of winning and I think Milan will win. In any event we will play the following formation: Reina Finnan Carra Agger Aberloa Pennant Alonso Masch Riise Stevie G Crouch/Kuyt
  20. So basically for Liverpool Football Club he's been sh*t but he's not been bad for Rafa. Not much of an omen is it or is it?
  21. I think you need to go back and check if Rafa was the manager on each of those occassions.
  22. http://sport.independent.co.uk/football/eu...icle2562707.ece I particularly like this bit: "Benitez used a different strategy for each of the two semi-finals against Chelsea, neither conspicuously successful. At Stamford Bridge, Craig Bellamy was so ineffective alongside Dirk Kuyt that the game was crying out for Peter Crouch long before he was sent on. But Crouch's inclusion at Anfield demanded the inclusion of Jermaine Pennant to supply some crosses, and the winger did not justify his place either, certainly not with Alonso left out. So Boudewijn Zenden, surprisingly picked for both games, could retain his place on the left, offering the benefit of John Arne Riise at left-back. Remarkably, Kewell, who was booed by his own supporters in Istanbul, is suddenly back in contention, as a substitute at least." Didnt we win the second leg?
  23. I think you know you are talking b*llocks but you dont want to admit it.
  24. Totally agree with that Fred. Alonso is absolutely vital to our team. His short and long passing is as good as Stevie G but his retention of the ball is far superior to any of our midfielders. Also added to this is his ability to slow things down and a fantastic footballing brain. I think we have a gem of a footballer and it is absolutely ridiculous to entertain any thoughts of selling him. Mascherano is good but he aint no Alonso.
  25. Interestingly each season we have played them the number of defeats against them has decreased: 2004-05 - 3 defeats (Lost twice, Carling Cup and twice in the league) 2005-06 - 2 defeats (twice in the league) 2006-07 - 1 defeat so far in the league. Lets hope there are no more defeats to them this season.
