  1. But then I can guarantee you will be sucking Rafa's d*ck if we win the Champions League this year.
  2. Top post. Rafa has a noose round his neck 24/7 purely because he can not deliver the one trophy, that we have been waiting 19 years for, in the 3 and a half years he has been here. What people conveniently forget is that the circumstances he has worked under this season have been unbelievable. Its so easy to say Maurinho is such a great manager but what happened to Chelsea last season and the start of this season. They were on a slide because they feared Maurinho was going to be sacked. But hey Avram Grant has taken Chelsea to 3rd so he must be a better manager than Maurinho.
  3. If he was playing the Chelsea teams GH faced during his reign, yes. But he is now facing a Chelsea team far superior in every aspect to the one's GH faced during his time.
  4. Also conveniently forgetting that this Rafa's team would have completely raped Ranieri's Chelsea that beat us 2-1 at Anfield in GH's final season. Chelsea, Man U and Arsenal have either had the investment or been given time to develop as a team without constantly being undermined or doubted.
  5. It might be a different sport but a classic example of a team sticking with its manager is the New York Giants. They stood by Tom Coughlin since 2003. He made the playoffs in his second season in 2005 and then had 2 fairly average years and missed out on the playoffs in one of those years. In his fifth season he won the Superbowl with the core of the side remaining the same for the last 3 years. But Rafa is in his 4th season and deserves to be sacked because he hasnt delivered the premiership.
  6. Not forgetting the fact that Arsenal had undergone two managerial changes, George Graham was sacked due to the infamous brown envelope dealings and then Bruce Rioch (f*ck me) took over. They also had an interim manager Stewart something. It small wonder that they finished in those positions. The core of the side was solid. Wenger added Overmars, Viera, Petit and Grimandi to the mix and hey presto after one full season they win the premiership the next season. And dont forget these players were not small change £7m for Overmars (which is what we spend on a winger in todays prices for f*cks sake) and £5m for Viera. Petit was a bargain so credit to Wenger. But he had a solid side make no mistake. Rafa didnt and he still won the CL. He has made mistakes but I genuinely believed this was going to be the season until the owners started to throw the sh*t around.
  7. And Wenger has been building that for how many years oh thats right 10 years. Completely slipped my mind that did. Add in quite a few lean years without a trophy let me think....... between 2001/02 season to 2006/07 (could well add 2007/08 to that). But hey Wenger is bullet proof because he inherited a championship winning defence, Ian Wright and a world class player in Bergkamp and won the premiership in his second season. But dont let that cloud your judgment, you are right. No record signings. Wenger is light years ahead of Rafa.
  8. I am assuming you are including Crouch as one of the three in which case you have either lost the plot or are blinded by anger or both since you are the first to campaign for Rafa to start Crouch. Unless you are referring to Torres as one of the 3 in which case my friend, i'll send the men in white coats round to your house. As for continuing to go for the throat, we dont have the luxury of players in the final third to do that on a consistent basis compared to the likes of Arsenal, Man Utd and Chelsea. Added to that fact is that with Agger out we are seriously shorn of pace which prevents us playing a much higher line because if lose the ball we leave ourselves open to a lightening counter attack in which case we are f*cked. And before you continue, the last 5 or 6 games have been drawn because we've conceded sloppy goals from set pieces. I suppose its the managers fault why the players fall asleep at key moments.
  9. Quick response, why dont you f*ck off.
  10. Before this sh*t with the owners kicked we were really playing some terrible stuff werent we? The players are lacking in confidence and the whole uncertainty surrounding the club is weighing them down. For thos who think since Hicks has come out and said he is fully behind the manager, that things should change on the field are f*cking delluded. Who in the world is going to trust that pr*ck when all he has done is tell one lie after another. Do you honestly think the players and the coaching staff are going to sit there and think 'Oh Rafa is safe, lets knuckle down now and go on a winning run'. Oh an Gerrard needs to shape up or shift out. He's been playing like a b*tch ever since he was substituted against Everton.
  11. I am sick of all this. I just cant be arsed with the negative sh*t on this forum. Some people are quite happy to tow the negative line just to massage their ego even if deep down they admit that what they initially said was over the top. I hope you guys get the classless pr*ck Maurinho. He will fit right in with the classless owners and fickle supporters.
  12. And I am sure Utd supporters were saying the same when they won only 1 FA Cup between 2001 and 2006 (we finished above them in 2001/02) despite spending huge amounts of cash on the likes of Van Nistelroy, Rio Ferdinand, Veron, Saha. These four combined cost more than all the players Rafa has bought in this year. But oh no we are special and have a god given right to win the premiership despite the massive gulf in spending between us and the other teams.
  13. You are right there is no correlation because Utd were on a level playing field in terms of spending power but now we are miles behind them. So thanks for pointing that, it strengthens my case.
  14. I wish you guys were Utd supporter particularly during the 1988/89 season (Fergie's 4th season in charge) when Utd won f*ck all and finished 11th. There is no doubt you diehard supporters would have been calling for his head as he had won f*ck all and was going nowhere in the league. But no Rafa is much worse, he's not delivered anything and has been working in a perfect environment with no injuries, total support from the owners and the ability to go out and buy whoever he wants. And since we are not producing the results he should be sacked.
  15. I think people need to wake up and realise that there is absolutely no way DIC will purchase the club now. Gillette and Hicks have ridden the storm and feel the worst is behind them. Over the next couple of weeks they will try everything in their power to win the fans back. They will then slowly start phase II which is to build the new stadium and get rid of Rafa. DIC issue is now dead.
  16. Cant understand why our stadium is going to cost £300m whilst Arsenal's cost £260m. Are they planning on putting gold bricks in our stadium?
  17. You really are thick as f*ck. You keep harping on about £70m spent yet you conveniently forget that the vast majority of the £70m was funded from player sales while the remainder was funded by further loans taken out by G&H and not out of their pockets. You talk about DIC doing the same but at they have deeper pockets and will be able to provide transfer funds without taking out further loans.
  18. "Gunners" an apt name for Israel.
  19. An I am sure you see plenty of Arabs and Palestinians getting equal opportunities within the so-called state of Israel. The animosity towards Israel within the Arab world has arisen as a result of years of mass killing and destruction carried out by the Israeli's not forgetting raping women and enslaving children. Palestine, Lebanon and Jordan are a handful of examples that highlight Israel's peace movement. This is always conveniently overlooked but when an Arab state so much as cough's in Israel's direction there is mass hysteria. All I can say is keep up your pro-zionist stance, they must be proud of your work.
  20. http://icliverpool.icnetwork.co.uk/0500liv...-name_page.html I hope he's not the same guy who had a brief acting career and an equally brief singing career. What a tw*t.
  21. Oh god PLTBT. Please, pretty please.
  22. What you are conveniently forgetting is that we were challenging for the title and stringing good results together until the f*ckwits G&H started backstabbing and twisting the knife. It is no f*cking coincidence that our form has slumped from the end of November which is precisely when 'Hick the d*ck' was negotiating an 'insurance policy' in case Rafa left. Rafa's must have been devastated to hear the rumours and you can sure as hell guarantee that the players saw the change in the manager's body language. It has been preying on their minds ever since which is why our form has slumped. But hey its Rafa's fault the owners went back on their promises, its Rafa's fault that an incompetent c*nt like Parry is dealing with all transfer's, its Rafa's fault that he has f*ck all to spend yet has to compete with the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Man U but yet has to compete with them to win the title. F*ck me the lengths some people would go to just to prove their point when they belatedly know that they are in the wrong.
  23. You are the real gobsh*te you f*cking numbnut. If you havent got anything better to say then f*ck off. C*nt
  24. How about setting up a new club, FC Liverpool? Just a thought.
  25. I wont f*ckwit.
