It's a first goal game. I think if we play the way we played against Arsenal and Swansea at home and Spurs, City, Chelsea and even Everton away earlier in the season then they'll have to defend and battle at their very best to keep us out. We could have an off day. They could be at their very best and it could become mucky. But if they play to within touching distance of their average since Christmas and we play to within touching distance of ours then we should prevail.

I'd worry over Johnson we were giving ourselves too much to do in one window. We don't want to need two first choice full backs. I'd just let him wind his contract down and have a look at McLaughlin and Flanagan and see if they can take us forward. If they can't then worst case scenario is we buy in 2015. Given the players coming back and the FFP stuff and all that, we don't want to be having to do 8m quid stuff this window. We really shouldn't have to.

Completely agree. And after we win the league this season there will be more of them and all sorts of triggers in the ones we have will be revealed.

I'd have Welbeck ahead of Cleverley.

I'd go with Rakitic or Milner, Richards, Shaw, Konoplyanka and one more in as good as or better than Konoplyanka. And a sub keeper. I'd bring Wisdom, Suso and Borini back into the squad. I'd let Agger, Jones, Aspas, Alberto, Enrique, Aissaidi and Kelly go. Cissokho and Moses go anyway. If we actually fancy Ilori I'd let Skrtel go if an offer comes in. I'd phase Johnson out over the season.
