ACL reconstruction is one of the most researched/practised surgical procedures, especially in the professional sporting arena. Its an injury that happens quite easily, and is a lengthy layoff. But studies show that more than 90% of people return to full sporting activities. Micheal 's chances are almost certainly higher than this because he will receive the very best treatment. I expect him to come back very strong because he is an incredibly focussed & dedicated professional. Unlike injuries when he was younger, he is now less likely to be pressured into making choices which aren't in his best interest. BTW along with Zenden & FloPo, Gonzalez injury last year was his ACL too.
