  1. I'll take nervy, ugly wins at this stage.
  2. That'll do, son. That'll do.
  3. It's irrelevant as long as their heads are in the right place. If they think "our luck's bound to run out", it may be self-fulfilling (not that it's luck, but you know what I mean). On the other hand if they're thinking "we're unbeatable", maybe that'll prove to be just as self-fulfulling. By the way, it's on. (And why do my posts say 15 rather than 300+? Most peculiar)
  4. Racial slurs, is it? Classy, k****ead.

    Lottery numbers?
  8. One for the birds.
  9. Not bad. Not bad at all.
  10. Man, I hate those pinball in the box moments.
  11. Close
  12. Love it!
  13. Embarrassing.
  14. Probably not. That site has, for example, Mignolet 65 Shots Faced, and 3 Goals allowed. But if you click on his name, it says 24 saves (http://www.thescore.com/epl/players/10804-simon-mignolet). While Fulham's Stockdale is 96 Shots Faced, 9 Goals Allowed, resulting in 22 Saves. Doesn't make much sense to me, but there you go.
  15. Flippin' Nora, you guys don't 'alf over-analyse stuff.
  16. Hrm... Just saw the woodwork shot. I reckon my Sky internet stream is about 2 minutes behind the forum. Best not refresh this too often.
  17. OK, so Mignolet might work out.
  18. I think I'd give up on football. I can't imagine supporting another club. I just don't think I could build up enough care to give a damn. For example, I've tried supporting my local team (Morecambe FC, who have one of the lowest average attendances in the league), but it's all rather meh. I don't get excited about their games, and I'm sure the same would apply to any other team. If I were forced to pick another team to give a shot apart from Morecambe, it'd probably be Arsenal (I was born in Woolwich, although long after the team moved to Highbury); or maybe Charlton Athletic, since that's pretty close to Woolwich & Blackheath where I lived.
  19. Magnificent.
  20. GTFI!
  21. It's like being back in Istanbul at half time. =)
  22. Could be worse. Bill Shankly lost his first game 4-0 away to Cardiff City. http://www.lfchistory.net/SeasonArchive/Game/22
  23. Not sure I'm doing myself any favours here, but... Ask, and you shall receive.
