I hope the main purchase we make is to buy out the contract of the new manager...that would be like having a new team let alone a few new players! Come back Rafa!

According to a number of reports at the time it was because he couldnt provide proof of funding, though the fact that they were there and there was a blanket statement sent out late in the evening it would suggest they were prepared to accept it. Though I am not sure how it all fits in with NESV, as MB said a number of times today they had been speaking them for several weeks.

Agree, really worth watching as Peston asks some great questions, much better than the stuff on Sky/LFC.tv (to be expected though as he is a business journo iirc).

MB definitely talks a good game, you can just imagine the legal workings that must have gone on for them to be in this position and be so confident of the sale. It bodes well but i wont get too happy till its confirmed!

If its a seperate entity and they are personally liable then I dont think RBS will let up, if it doesnt effect LFC i reckon they wont stop and will chase them till they get it! woohoo - karma
