  1. Testing the water on the strength of the clauses in place re the directors, allows for a seperate judgement and or different stance to be employed by the Broughton and co later in the week? I have no legal background but it sounds plausible
  2. Better still, LFC are sold and due to the nature of debt and personal guarantees H&G (or Mill Financial) are still liable for the penalties incurred, and therefore stand to lose more than the 140 Million. I know....perfect world but i can dream
  3. I would guess that though RBS gave two weeks grace, this didnt stop us from being put in default as the loan was still due for repayment on the 6th
  4. lol - my shonky typing!
  5. Yes i would imagine so, but if hicks loses expect him to announce that they will appeal immediately Appeal!
  6. I read that RBS are pushing for Monday but there hasnt been a confirmation yet as far i am aware - RBS are pushing to get it heard ASAP
  7. Great post - cheers
  8. I am not fussed either way tbh, but i like the Guardian as a paper so it wouldnt detract from anything. I dont think its a bad thing that NYT owns 20& of NESN...though if they were linked to News International that would be another matter altogether!
  9. Thats interesting, never thought of that tbh. Did Alex Rodriguez used to play for Red Sox? They must have had dealings with each other in the past I am sure, its too small a bubble
  10. Yes the NYT owns 20%
  11. The comment i saw on Twitter (ben_smith iirc) was that they are being seen as a backup only, after all they have accepted the bid from NESN and after seeing there WWW yesterday I dont think there going to walk away soon. They must have known that H&G would try and drag it out
  12. Straight swap for Capello please! Though i think we deserve some compensation for the damage Roy has done so far!
  13. Yep, thats because our defence is a liability. At Fulham he had Hangeland who is Hyypiaesque in terms of aerial dominance, it just reiterates how even after 35 years (!!!!) he cant or wont adjust his system to the group of players he has. As is very clear its really annoying me, someone needs to send that report to John W Henry!!
  14. Him and Torres would work really well together, he is ideal playing just off the striker
  15. Some great analysis here of Roy and his tactical nievete masterclass WWW
  16. Van Gaal? I wouldnt want him anywhere near us tbh, Mourinho or Hiddink would be the ones imo. I would still have Rafa back though!
  17. Nope, next Friday at the latest by all accounts. Its going to be a long week
  18. I was checking out the pics on NESN WWW...and found this one (picture 6 if it doesnt load correctly): NESN - LFC Picture Gallery They only have 6 pics, but this was one of them - once bitten twice shy i know but thats really well done imo YNWA
  19. Wouldnt it depend on the jurisdiction they fell under, no such laws in the UK i think No Carra? Mirror
  20. MB said they had v little debt in the group during his interview
  21. Yes - I am hoping that the differences between the legal system in the US and UK prevent it being dragged out too much.
  22. Anything to buy more time? Delay the inevitable (i hope), however I am sure both sides would have done a great deal of legal scrutiny on the contracts and assurances given. I honestly think this is his only option, he just wants to go down fighting.
  23. Yes with the complex structure of holding companies and the like its hard to know which one has overall control, and does it matter against which company is the debt secured? Also I am sure that RBS would have had to understand all of this for them to offer finance/refinance, so its safe to assume that same knowledge would have been used to ensure any changes made would stand upto legal scrutiny. After all RBS need to protect there investment so it would be part of there due dilligence imo.
  24. very slick Well they have all the reports from our recent games, lets hope they read them and make ditching roy a priority
  25. Some people are just clueless You would think that even if they dont watch LFC or CFC regularily they might watch England games - in that its pretty clear cut, when Lampard doesnt play England play better...
