Exactly the type of football Roy plays (and the teams mentioned) sit back, apply limited pressure and concede posession, therefore inviting pressure and putting more emphasis on the defenders winning the aerial battle in the box. Its the reason that Soto has done so well the system employed suits him, it however doesnt suit any of our other defenders. Its not a surprise that under Rafa our defensive play was higher up the pitch, pressing and forcing errors so pace in defence was our biggest concern though we did suffer at set plays. Imo we havent replaced Sami and thats why we suffered so much in the last season under Rafa

Good summary imo, I agree i dont think he did it vindictively but he tried to use his business acumen to complete football decisions - it never should have been allowed to happen and i would assume he would need agreement from the board to complete those deals?

I thought the programme was terrible initally, I have to say the quote from Werner re Rafa sounded to me like him justifying the Roys away record on the basis of one bad season under Rafa. He was imo trying to infer that the problem was here before Roy and its not his fault, and by the same undertaking have a dig at Rafa too. I wasnt impressed, that was swiftly followed with the usual lines about patience and how both NESV and Roy are new to Liverpool and need time blah blah. It only really got interesting when people started lying to the researchers and asking the real questions! Some encouraging comments from John Henry and Tom but still I have my concerns. It sounds to me like Roy will go but not until the summer, my glass half full take is that they are waiting for the right person to come along. Also, after John & Tom had left Ian Ayre was there for about 20-30 mins and I think it was the last question in which he commented on them looking to bring in the right people for both on and off the pitch, that reaffirms my belief that Roy will be gone but not till they get the replacement lined up.

There definitely not going to build a new stadium imo, everyone has talked about the Anfield feel etc etc... Keep it succint, When are you going to sack Roy?

It was mentioned for the show post Everton iirc, as it was NESV first game in charge and the nature of the performance. Though probably just a rumour as always. Yep, I wouldnt sing Roys praises (i am sure even they would be suspicious!) but go with wanting to support the team and how the fans need to get behind everyone at the club...and then bring out the sack Roy stats!!
