Every morning I wake up hoping to see that he has been sacked - I honestly cant believe he is still here I was chatting to the missus (who is a teacher and usually quite chilled) about it last night and having given her a summary of the situation I thought she came out with some interesting views 1. Said that if the match going fans are not going to be more vocal/active about the situation then are they really doing enough? Some of her suggestions: - Mass boycots, marches and the like - My personal fav, burn effigies of him outside the ground on match day (a bit much but made me LOL) to get some attention 2. Questioned the value of online petitions and polls if the owners even with our current form dont appear to be taking any action re the situation 3. If the rumours re the "players" being involved in the sacking of Rafa are true, then said players need to learn the lesson and live with it 4. Didnt understand why our ready made interim coach (Kenny) isnt hired, raised doubts about the new owners intentions? 5. Could understand why the new owners wouldnt appoint Rafa as it may be viewed as giving into the fans or as going backwards Some interesting views and not too disimilar from what we have all been discussing considering she is relatively neutral and not really into football (as much as possible considering she is married to me!), but even she was quite astounded about the situation and how the new owners dont appear to be doing anything about it especially when you consider our league position/form.
