Exactly, the system he is trying to implement doesnt work to our strengths, I would think the likes of Cole and Jovanovic would be performing alot better if as a team we pushed higher up the pitch. We are sitting too deep, as widely discussed this means that Torres is isolated and when he does get the ball (usually after chasing down some hopeful punt from our defence) there is no support. In the last few games we have also started hitting early crosses and as a result keep conceding possession. We have a team of reasonably technical players and there strength is on the deck, we are not Fulham (or better still Wimbledon) and Torres is not a target man which Roy's systems revolve around. Hence why Roy has started to push Krygiagos (sp?) upfield, so he can implement a Fulhamesque system, knock it long, hope he wins it and we get the second ball. It just serves to remind me of his tactical nievete tbh, but as he keeps reminding us he wont change his system...after all he has won f*** all with it for 35 years so why change it now.
