I had hoped for the win - but a game against the blues**** is always tough. Thought we played really well in the first half and should have taken our chances, we started the second half slowly and the goals set us back. Still we got an equaliser - disappointing not to win but there are positive signs. Though we need to sort out that fecking defence, Skrtel is a total liability and if Agger is fit I would play him and Soto in our next game. I though GJ and Kelly did well tbh.

I am worried - especially with GJ at LB again, they will target him and Maxi doesnt exactly track back that much. Plus the team lacks any real pace in midfield, onus is going to be on the fullbacks to push up which will leave us exposed. I am thinking 4-2-3-1 - With Lucas and Spearing sitting deep protecting the defence, Maxi, Mereiles and Kuyt supporting Torres. I thought 2-1 to us but i am having doubts!

This is really frustrating, it maybe that things are happening behind the scenes (glass half full) but in my current state of mind (there is no f***ing glass) the owners arent planning any major investment till the summer and the show of intent will be limited to signing Warnock on loan!

Agree, I am sure he can push up as required but having seen Blackpool pretty much walk through our midfield at will we cant let the same thing happen again. Sacrifice some attacking intent but break with purpose and use the "wingers" as outlets.

My team: --------------Reina--------------- Kelly - Soto - Agger - Aurelio --------Lucas - Meireles------- -Johnson--Maxi--- Babbel--- -------------Torres---------------- Pretty solid, two good outlets in Johnson and Babbel, plus Johnson can help out Kelly. I am concerned about the lack of pace with Maxi but i think Cole is too lightweight for that position. I also think we need a more aerial dominant CH in alongside Agger hence Soto instead of Skittles
