I admit I am a Rafa fan and always will be but it did look like something wasnt right last season, there was something not quite right about his relationship with the players. I hate the phrase but it did look like he had "lost the dressing" room. But regardless common sense dictates that you only get rid of a world class manager if you have another one lined up or someone who has a proven track record, someone the fans can get excited about and see the potential in. I never saw that in Roy, he hadnt achieved anything of note other than a couple of UEFA cup finals (of which he lost both iirc) and...and...well thats it really. He has mid table record and he is continuing in the same way with us, dragging us down to his level.
