True, but i still think he has gone. The fact that the club came out to say there would be no statement re Roy but didnt move to dispel the rumours or back him tells me its been done and they are waiting to announce it - waiting for Kenny to come back perhaps?

Maybe it was because today was always planned to be an off day? Sounds like there may have been some going ons at Melwood today (I am assuming Roy saying his goodbyes etc), so it makes no difference really other than appeasing us the fans

FYI - BBC R5 Live are also saying that they understand Roy would have been sacked if we had lost against Bolton, i know it was a home game but the nature of the defeat yesterday should consign him to the OAP home - I am quite confident it will be announced tomorrow

As with all rumours take with a pinch of salt, I have already lost a few quid when all the Rijkaard rumours were about.
