  3. I actually think we could go much, much bigger than 60, and with decent pricing, fill it every week. The higher up people are the cheaper the ticket. Cheap deals for local kids. You could still have your hardcore of STH's and have plenty of corporate boxes, but make the ticketing policy a bit radical. Make some tickets priced where working people can afford them. You can keep the Sky generation fans and bring back the thousands that used to pack the Kop. The appetite in Liverpool alone is there. I personally think we are missing a great opportunity with the new design. We could have been a lot more creative.
  4. No ballot, its official. http://www.liverpoolfc.tv/news/drilldown/N...060511-1052.htm
  5. No, buts that completely irrelevant. The allocation was a disgrace in the first place. This is just making it worse. As someone said it's 7% of an allocation that wasn't reasonable in the first place. What's your point?
  6. Do you think he is going to tell them to stick it? I really think these f*****s need to be shown that the fans come first. Its absolutely disgusting what is happening to football, its being turned into a corporate jolly with no grass roots and no passion. The atmosphere will be like Rugby Union at this rate. Of course the money is vital to the game, but its losing the passion and meaning that made it the game it is. Call me a romantic, but its sickening me off. The hype around the world cup is already sickening me off, the hysterical media coverage of football is ruining it for everybody. If we pull out, or threaten to pull out I'll be right behind the club.

  8. Seesm there are a fair few 'You have been unsuccessful in the ballot' letters according to posters on RAWK. Still not dead yet. Hopefully.
  9. Get this - theres a bloke on Rawk and apparently the .tv sites saying they've had their letter saying they have not been selected in the ballot already. So have people been chosen already and they are just waiting to do the calls? The plot thickens....
  10. Well in Rick. Sock it to em.
  11. Complete guess if I'm honest. Stomps from OT in a huff. We are in for a striker. Kev said it was a knock you on the floor signing that would split fans. Just call me Sherlock. I'd rather have Bellamy and I can't stand him either!
  12. That has to mean we are in for RVN? Oh god, I hate the c***............ I don't care how good he is.
  13. Cancelled till tomorrow at the earliest apparently, sorting the ones whose tickets were pinched first.
  14. Excellent. Thanks.
  15. Nah, just got knots hoping I'm going to get one.
  16. Anyone know how many applications/tickets are in it? Should hear today apparently. I feel sick....
  17. I agree. I think they'll struggle to win in court on that, which might end up with people getting to see more footy. They've been nothing but greedy since they got the rights.
  18. Where did you get that from mate? Am in the ballot, not expecting to hear anything until Thurs at the earliest. Cheers Ed

  20. Is absolutely correct.
  21. Wonder why it took until May to sign the deal with Carlsberg? And wonder if they will be named in proceedings as well.

  24. What do we really reckon the chances of: a) FA releasing more tickets b) Fan Card with 2 FA Cup games getting a look in. I'm an eternal optimist, but shoot me down...
