It's funny, I remember him celebrating all over the place like a maniac when he equalised against us in the last minute at their place two seasons back.

This is the problem for me. I don't think people's problems with Kewell have anything to do with how he performs. Yesterday he did exactly what we want from a winger. He beat his man and provided some quality crosses. And still people are moaning. I think it's down to how he performed for Leeds. Or atleast how people remember him from that time. People seem to remember Kewell as some footballing God, and no matter what he does he can't live up to that now. I wish people would realise that even though he was great for Leeds, he was also very inconsistent and drifted in and out of games.

I can't wait. We're a joy to watch at the moment. It's a derby and anything can happen, but I feel really confident we'll give them a good hiding.

I thought he did really well. Gave us width and gave their full back hell. And a few quality crosses, one to set up the goal. Basically did his job and is starting to look the business.

He's one of those players we seem to be linked with every year just for good measure. Just like Malbranque.

Decent defender but not as good as he was 2-3 years ago. He wouldn't be first choice here and I don't think he would come to sit on the bench.

That's the first time I've seen Niklas Bendtner, the Danish lad. Looked quite useful. Not first team material, but looks like he could become a good player.

Really excited when we were (briefly) linked with him in the summer. No matter how much money Chelsea have spent, he's remained one of their best players. He could make a superb Juve defence even better. Scary.

It's funny that he's 23 now. Saw Carra on the offal talk about how he still considers Warnock to be one of the young players. And he's 24.

Saw him on some of the offal reserve highlights. It's difficult to judge players from that alone (impossible, actually), but he did score a goal. I'm not sure, but it seems he likes to play up front. I was under the impression that he was an out and out winger, but it doesn't look like it.

Paul Anderson sounds like he could become a real special player.
