The season's turned into an utter farce with the 'covid' postponements. Arsenal crying about injuries while flogging anything with a pulse off on loan, leicester getting games called off, playing a weakend team to city, full strength v us, crying off everton, leeds calling off our game after getting slapped by city, united getting covid match called off while the new manager beds in and yep as t*** tuchel points out...man city seemed unaffected when 90% of the earth's population has got it/will get it, even arteta's had it twice. I still hope we win the thing but f***ing hell if any season needs astrix'ing it's this one.

Are you choosing to read me saying henderson was s*** as a klopp out post. I'm sure you'll make that leap soon enough. -
i agree it's not a glaring an issue as midfield doesn't mean it isn't an issue that needs reviewing. Should trent get taken out by pickford and miss an entire season then we have a dilemma. Play fab right back (for the experience) and lose an experienced midfielder and go with complete an utter inexperience for a 50/60 game campaign. In 2 or 3 year years yeah connor bradley will be an able capable deputy, likewise, beck and hopefully morton, gordon, musliowski, next season, for league or cl, nah not for me.

Yep, two of my best moments as supporter - madrid and the league win. He always gets drawn out of position away from home, his touch has never been the best, his shooting a mile off gerrard's finishing but the past two away games he's been f***ing awful in every way. His saving grace is that thiago is often injured, keita, ox too, milner is old, curtis, elliot, morton far to young. It's not our saving grace though. Ours would be signing players to play with fabinho before fabinho's age catches up with him. It might actually prolong henderson's career, so would quitting the england b******s, cos frankly he isn't first choice there either. -
Konate should never have joined cos gomez, matip and virg were all ahead of him? it's b******s. It's a mentality that lets fsg off the hook from investing. Players will leap at the opportunity to play for us, to play cl footy while we have it, just no f***ing money being put forward for us to sign anyone with hairs on their chest. all we are doing is flogging to death our current 11 til they are burnt out cos the second string is below par. 2018 cl final, salah gets crocked, no alternative winger so we drag lallana on 2022 salah goes to afcon and which winger in the club is picking up the pieces...??? It's like i'm screaming into the void the lack of vision at people who get paid the big bucks to see the big picture but seemingly only deal in a perpetual one out, one in scenarios.
-
I don't want either being his back up. Need someone far more experienced for the level we are at. Given that fsg are tight b*****ds and we have more pressing concerns it wouldn't surprise if we let this slide until it becomes an issue too.
-
Not only that we are providing a window of opportunity for other clubs to build and catch us up.

abysmal midfield performance from henderson. He's really starting to annoy me. Zero clue about what is going on around him all the time, his touch has been f***ing woeful and he's at fault for their second. Anyone else, literally any other midfielder for any other team with a minute to go before half time away from home, launches the ball into space, nope not this d****ead, tries to play it on to trent who has no option but to just nod it forward and the ball is pinged back into the space trent was holding and pulisic runs on and hendo to cap it off doesn't see the run cos he's f***ing ball watching until it's too f***ing late. We are stuck with him cos once again thiago is injured, ox is s***, milner is ancient, curtis barely gone through puberty. I f***ing despair, every summer - bit of an issue here we might need to address and f***ing head in the sand, it's fine, it's fine, we've got depth and every year at this stage we are on our f***ing knees cry arsing about fixtures, and player well fare, instead of blaming the tight wad c**** who won't spend a penny on replacing the crocks in the side with fella's (not school boys) to have a big fat fit squad. -
also have potential issues with home grown. We've currently 9 homegrown - Henderson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Kelleher, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Milner* Phillips*, Woodburn*, Ojo* , possibly 4 to go in the summer. Jones will be classed as home grown next season having turned 21 but it will be a year or two before we can fill the quota with Elliot, Morton, Beck, Gordon. Bellingham, bowen, watkins. Probably end up with todd cantwell if he's on a free in the summer.

Most pointless thread in the entire board. FSG aint funding s***. Divock, ox, taki will see us into 4th place. Just.

what f***ing galls me the most is the way we play away from home - from the first whistle, everything a million miles per hour, no calmness, no lets just get a grip of the game, every f***ing time, even if we score two in ten minutes its still rush of blood til the half time whistle. Captain hendo is the worst culprit for it instead of being a leading light of calm the f*** down, get hold of it, and pass the f***ing thing about, bide your time and wait for the opportunities, he's no f***ing clue whats around him and tries a million f***ing first time passes/shots, it's like covid and spreads through the team, resulting in poor touches, misplaced passes, players caught out of position, and we gift the opposition chances from our own idiocy. City f***ing kill teams cos from the first minute they get a grip of the ball and hold it and smother the life out of the opposition til they concede they aren't getting out their own half. Chelsea have the patience to let other teams have the ball and don't s*** their kecks about not having it for a spell of 5 mins, they just get themselves defensively set, wait for the opposition to misplace a pass and then counter. Us, neither, just run round like headless f***ing chickens, chasing shadows, giving fouls when there's no need to foul and full blown panic mode cos we haven't had the ball for two minutes. We drop too many points away from home cos we need more than fabinho to have a calm head.

predictable as f***. The forward line has an off day but f*** all from that midfield. What the f*** is klopp thinking. Oxlade f***ing chamberlain, s*** and should have been sent packing 2019. Still here. Still being thoroughly anonymous in midfield away from home. Rise and repeat with a host of other players still clogging up the squad who should have been sold and added some fresh blood with some impetus to win us games and win us medals.

harvey's only a child they bounce back quicker, a spoonful of calpol, a day or two off big school and he'll be right as rain by next week.

so Dan Sturridge or Jerome Sinclair on a free which one are we gonna panic buy in January?

You mean the melissa ready who said in July :"Liverpool are actively looking at recruiting in midfield and attack."

the under 18s managed to scrape a draw with notts forest. One of our lads was clattered by their big defender, he won the race to the ball, and was fully wiped out by a shoulder to his face. Not sure how it wasn't a straight red but these challenges seem acceptable to referees when they land on our players. Game was halted for about an hour as he was taken to hospital and we couldnt resume unless there was another ambulance at the ground. we were 3-1 down and managed to salavage a result in the 90th. Oakley baggin the equalizer. (could have had a hatrick in the 20 mins he was on the pitch - still right place, right time). The new kid from newcastle Clark also scored on his debut.

One of my biggest gripes with fsg is using the press to constantly talk up big summers. we were linked to 63 players in the summer. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/every-player-liverpool-transfer-rumours-21433837 we signed non in addition to konante. The same journalists then slag fans off for actual wanting transfers to progress beyond monitoring. Do or do not as yoda says. As the usually do not, it's time for them to f*** off.

how much are these CL kop Tickets - the club have helpfully told me they've successfully taken payment but not actually how much they've taken on their emails. Cant log into the tickets section cos it puts you straight into a queue to buy tickets. -
So the mirror are putting out that salah wants £500k a week to sign a new contract. Whether true or not the story itself is interesting, where it's sourced from, who it's aimed at, what they hope to achieve with it. Has it come from our american owners? are they prepping us for the possibility of another big star leaving? do they want to pin the blame on mo's greed rather than their own lack of ambition to take us forward? Has it come from Mo's agent, he didn't seem pleased with the club & always seems to want to move his client to madrid? Wouldn't be any of this nonsense if he played for one of the oil clubs or united cos we know he'd get the wages he's after and their clubs would still fund signings.
