When you put it like that... He hasnt moaned once, he was basically scraping to be on the subs bench towards the end of last season too. IF he can get himself fit he will be a decent option late on in games at least.

Nzog to Villa for £9.5m. Good player, would have been happy to have him as a different option.

When you put it down like that we look pretty f***ing grest as a squad. I think there are 5 positions/players we need to improve on either as a 1st teamer or depth which are: Left Back Cente Back Defensive Mid Right Wing Striker Phil Jones and Wickham would have ticked two of these boxes, Enrique another. One of the French DM's for that role and a NZogbia type for the wing perhaps. That would have make our current squad complete, but also f***ing huge so you can understand the need to get rid of the deadwood before we go out and buy again.

Winger was deffo the number one priority, without a doubt. CB would be great, he needs to be all of comanding, fast and very good in the air to improve us. A fit Agger and this new wunderbar defender and we'll be f***ing quality at the back.

Hahaha thats a fine description. They need creative players, they have none apart from Bennyoun and I honestly cant see him playing all that much. They are machine like, but lack that extra spark when its needed most.

Think is my dream too, precisely my dream. Completely different midfield players Ant, some would say polar opposites, and I'd agree. It would never be a case of him starting instead of - for example you can imagine them both playing in a Lucas-Spearing-Aquilani combo which is very similar to how we finished the season with Alberto in for Raul.

Definitely a regular starter. In the reserves.

We have signed Downing. Adam and Henderson and all three are brilliant at putting the ball in the box. Add this to Gerrard coming back into the team. It will be like sending a fat kid loose at Taybarns for big Andy next season.

Heard. If/when we get Enrique in and we stop there (for the player ins) Id personally be very happy with our summer. We will have completely sorted out left hand side out, signed a top winger, added much needed and quality depth to add midfield. I think the plan was to sign Eden Hazard, Connor Wickham and Phil Jones, but one is staying, one we were not prepared to bid higher for and one is now a horrible manc. I think it can be argued that we need a top centre back (Jones), a top right winger and another game changer to go with Suarez (Hazard) and a quality striker who would be happy to be 4th choice, for now at least (Wickham) to be make our squad fully complete. I can understand the fans arguement for Jusn Mata in all this. At the moment we haven't got the champions league, the plan is to (quitely) go for the title next season, with champions league the minimum. If we get a top four place, and I believe we will, then this puts us in a much stronger position for the bigger signings (the Hazards, Matas). No only in terms of bring able to offer Champions League football, but also in terms of FFP and the money generated. It is an exciting time either way you look at it, whether you think we have had a good summer like me, or not like someone else. We have owners who's sole goal is to win, who have almost promised us a league title and won't stop until we are winning these again and a manager everyone rightly adores both historically and well, cause he is f***ing Kenny Daglish. Next season is to be enjoyed, go on, I dare you.
