Cant someone explain to me why people are picking Downing in their line ups? I know Kenny will for some reason, but this is your line up, you choose the players - do people genuinely want him to start? And if so can they please explain why? Just curious. Maxi or Bellamy > Downing

Thoughts on Carroll: He needs to play as much as possible to get in form, dropping in when he has been doing well as been one of Kenny's poor decisions this season (Carra, Henderson on the wing, Suarez as a lone striker and not enough Maxi the others for me) He is still very young, I think selling him but be a mistake as there is a whole lot of improvement to be made and some definite potential for goals We should tell him to only think about putting the ball in the net, non of this dropping back in to midfield nonsense, he can be a real threat Playing him frees up space for Suarez and Gerrard, Suarez on his own up front is a seriously stupid move I think our strongest (and most attacking) team involves getting a mixture of Carroll, Suarez, Bellamy, Maxi and Gerrard on the pitch. Something like this: Henderson - Lucas Suarez - Gerrard - Bellamy/Maxi Carroll With Gerrard and Suarez swapping positions etc. That looks pretty damn good to me from our current squad.
