This is exactly it, perfect, I'll give you 10/10 for that - the front three should deffo all be a goal threat. Gerrard doesnt seem to want to play that 10 role these days and I think we need some who does and scores, they cost big money - Eriksen from Ajax would fit the profile for example.

Henderson, Allen (despite yesterday) and Gerrard is our best bet until Lucas is fully fit for me.

Its Norwich, at home, so there I'd go with: Pepe Wisdom - Srktel - Agger - Johnson Lucas - Gerrard Sterling - Suarez - Borini Sturridge Proper go mental like. FWIW I think Sturridge is our new number 9 and should always play in that position, none of this wide nonsense and with Suarez being given license to go and Suarez the f*** out of them.

I think we need Sturridge as the number 9, he is rapid and deffo has goals in him. I quite like the idea of Suarez and Borini getting that extra space that defences will give them in dropping deep to guard against Sturridge's pace. Borini played as an attacking wide forward for Roma last season and scored 9 in 23 or so, that would do for us.

Ayre got us really good commercial deals with Standard Charter and Warrior so respect to him for that, he is no chief exec on evidence though and we still desperately need one. If he just shut up in the meantime and just drove around on his motorbike all day that would be an improvement. As for striker, I'm still hoping for Gameiro, would be a top signing.

We should honestly get rid now if we can and get someone else in, whether that is Ince / Gameiro or ideally both. With Sturridge in, Borini back, Sterling there that should leave him 5th choice already for our front three, Ince and Gameiro score and assist. I feel that when we start with both Sterling and Downing in attack we limit our scoring so much, together they are averaging around a goal every 10 games, so that is saying that 9 out of every 10 games neither will score and with us not having a goalscoring midfield we are basically relying on one man. Things should definitely change now with Sturridge and Borini back, both bring more goals to the table and it means Sterling can become more of an impact player and progress naturally, I have very high hopes for him but he has got that cutting edge yet and that is desperately what we need and have since our ex done his knee.

I like Rodgers, I like what he is trying to do and he seems to take no s*** either. I think the one thing that will stop him is FSG but with the new Sky money coming in even we should get that extra cash to spend to improve the team in the way Rodgers wants it, I have high hopes for him. All great manager were young once and I have hope he becomes one of them.

We had a class player, didnt play him in his position and then let him go after four months, mistake from Rodgers for me, but he hasnt made that many and I like what he is trying to do here. 2 out and one in doesnt make for good reading but at least they were two players who rarely played and we have Suso who can move central now rather being wasted out wide.

That is one awful team selection and if it turns out to be Downing and Henderson wide then I think I might punch myself in the head, twice. To think we could start with Sturridge, Suarez and Sterling and really go at them...

One attacking player in one out so far when we were two players attacking short as it was... Gameiro would be great, on loan or otherwise. If we let Sahin and Coates go in whatever form they still need to be replaced.

Wisdom has to play as he is more solid and defensive minded than Robinson and will help Srtkel and Agger against the best attacking team in the league, we seem to get a lot more clean sheets when he is in the team too. Downing hasnt got the balls for this, bench him, play Sturridge as the forward with Gerrard looking for his runs early, he has the pace to destroy any of their CB's in a race and tell Suarez to 'go and Suarez' them in with license to roam and destroy. Great shout on Henderson, I would like to get Allen in there too to keep possession and annoy them by doing so like he did so well in the first game before we got robbed etc and I'd play him over Lucas at this stage, especially since Rooney is going to be missing and wont be dropping into that space, that all depends on whether Kagawa plays, as he may do that. Basically I think we should destroy them.
