Agree with the names you have mentioned, sounds good to me. Still think we would need another top class forward to challenge properly, Gamerio would do as would the pipe dream that is Theo Walcott. Also I still think are in need of a goalscoring midfielder number 10, I'm far from convinced Rodgers will play Suarez there with two wide players as well.

Interesting quotes from Rodgers in the Times saying he has spoken to Suarez at length about Sturridge playing as the central striker and about how Suarez played at Ajax.

Sounds great to me... Loads of the 'top clubs' have four strikers, we play three at once and it would be the opposite of having ONE fit striker. Sturridge - Suarez - Gameiro With Sterling and Borini on the bench. Sterling is allowed to develop naturally and Borini to come on to liven things up if we need a goal. Utopia.

I'd keep im until the summer then sell him on and get someone in who scores more goals as that is what we need from those positions. Very good lately, ridiculously improved from the previous version.

Gamiero to add to what we have with Borini coming back too and we are in very good stead for the rest of season, the lad is a player.

Very, very true. If Allen and Gerrard both get injured and we have no Sahin we wont be too hot a position, thats pretty much the doomsday scenario tho so fingerscrossed!

Don't really care whether he is British or now, fact is he is fast, skilful and scores goals - three things we are crying out for in attack. Seeing him and Suarez in the same attack is going to be exciting, now for one more...

This is EXACTLY right. But the balance has been wrong all season. I would have loved to have seen a fully fit Lucas - Sahin - Gerrard midfield as I think these are our most talented midfield three, but Lucas isnt there yet, Gerrard plays further back and Sahin cannot get a look in with rumours we are trying to offload early.

If we do sign Tom ince it will be interesting to see how he is used. I think Sterling will be a great player in three years time or so, same goes for Suso, they have all the skill they need, but with both it is a case of do they have enough end product to help us win games at the moment? Ince, although its in the Championship, is scoring and assisting a lot of goals, I think Sterling has something like one goal and four assists in the league this season and I'm just wondering if Tom Ince could add that something a bit more and allow Sterling to develop at a more natural rate than just being thrown into the first team. Could potentially have a front three of: Ince - Sturridge - Suarez With all of them interchanging (Ince swapping sides) and with Sterling in for Ince as and when.

Chelsea have got it sussed with their keeper situation, Cech in goal and Courtouis on loan at Althetico Madrid who looks just as good as Cech did at that age.

Think putting Wisdom in at RB and moving Johnson over gives up a much more solid base, we had a few clean sheets playing that way earlier on. It allows for Johnson to bomb on and Wisdom to hold his position, much like the Alves and Abidal thing Barca had going on. A front three of Suarez, Sturridge and Ince/Sterling has much more threat than we have now. I like to see Sturridge start as the CF to use his pace, especially away, and all three can interchange. Also like to see Sahin get a few games alongside Lucas, more so in the home fixtures than away, where Id use Henderson instead. Sahin is a very classy player who hasn't been give a chance in the playmaker role he was so effective in at Dortmund and could be a great weapon, particularly at home to break down teams when we'll have better movement from our new look front three.

Henderson is deffo a keeper, has performed well when played in CM and has excellent energy, passing and the ability to press, all great attributes for Brendan's system, if we sold him it's because we need the money and that is just grim. Same with Reina, Butland looks like he has the potential to go as far as Joe Hart has though at his young age, would be a bold move to sell Pepe and replace him with him, but with Reina's form over the past two seasons makes things less certain. We have a very settled central defensive partnership, but it only takes Agger to breakdown again for us to look weak, especially with Jose and Kelly now out, this makes things difficult as the one thing Coates needs is games. Cole is surely on his way, his wages for what he offers is obscene. Downing isn't good enough for us, nowhere near if we want to be challenging, but with Jose's injury this again makes for a difficult decision, looks like he could have a stay of execution until the summer unless we out faith in Jack Robinson as cover for Wisdom and Johnson at full back (LB). I think with Ince and Sturridge coming in Downing won't be needed up the other end of the pitch, which is a good thing. Tough window and some tough decisions.

Shame we cant keep the same 11 after today even though QPR were utter gash, we smashed them either way. With Jose out it is either Downing left back and one of Suso, Shelvey or Assaidi in or Widsom in and Johnson moved over. Saying that I still think Lucas will start, hope Henderson keeps his place above anything.
