  1. Again, you see the image that VAR are checking and you don’t worry cos the decision is clearly gonna go our way. It’s amazing how the last 2 decisions have gone
  2. Have we heard back yet with the questions about how VAR was used - which part of Mane was deemed to have been offside etc?
  3. Brewster is, of course, going to score, so we need to base any plan around that. Probably best to let him do it straight away, so we have the full 90 to deal with it.
  4. Great, that. Probably the second hardest game in the group out of the way
  5. Great from Jota up until his pass, though
  6. I was about to say that. Surely a genuine attempt to get the ball for a keeper in that position would be to dive in with his hands. The only reason to go in with his feet is cos he's scared of getting hurt, or to injure. So whilst I don't necessarily think that he went in to injure, it's not purely an attempt to win the ball
  7. And then as soon as the ball went out of play he was all of a sudden not in pain and just wanted someone booked
  8. The commentators on my US stream said that
  9. The only Everton I've spoken to about it doesn't understand why it was given as offside. I really, really can't begin to understand it. He's just not offside
  10. I can't believe this

  15. Red card for Adrian, Kelleher the hero of a gritty 1-0 win.
  16. Yeah it's that. They've been in the top flight for longer in total than anyone else. Helped by them being one of the founder clubs, so they had 4 years before we even existed. Cheats.
  17. Some players there. They can't all be too old and/or s***e
  18. Ex-Liverpool assistant hits out at Klopp: ‘I was the manager’ Buvac left Anfield with no explanation beyond "personal reasons" after working with Klopp for 17 years. Zeljko Buvac has finally broken his silence after his shock departure from Liverpool in 2018, claiming he “did the job of manager” while working as Jurgen Klopp’s assistant. Buvac left Anfield with no explanation beyond ‘personal reasons’ after working with Klopp for 17 years. It was claimed that the Bosnian-Serb wasn’t happy with the growing influence of Pep Lijnders, who has since been promoted to assistant manager. Buvac admitted that he did not congratulate Klopp or the Liverpool players on winning the title and hinted at a breakdown in his relationship with his former boss in conversation with Russian journalist Nobel Arustamyan, with the quotes translated by The Athletic. “I didn’t,” Buvac said when asked if he had congratulated Klopp. “I was happy for Liverpool, for the fans, for the players. But I didn’t.” His failure to mention Klopp’s name was notable, and his expanation as to why he has not since returned to management gives an indication as to why… “It felt like I’ve been the manager for all those 17 years,” he said, having taken up the job of sporting director at Dynamo Moscow after also working with Klopp at Mainz and Dortmund. “I did the job of a manager, except speaking in public and giving interviews. “Apart from that, I had all the functions and tried to influence my team as much as I could to help them succeed. “But I didn’t need that kind of attention.” Klopp does “need” it then? “I don’t want to be a manager now. If Barcelona calls me then of course I’ll think about it but otherwise no,” he continued. “You say I’m here just to stay occupied and wait for a better chance, but if you knew what kind of offers I had rejected during the pause in my career you wouldn’t have said that. “But I won’t tell you which clubs.”
