You can only laugh at these idiots. Pundits are just like armchair generals: full of bolocks but too scared to put their judgement on the line. I'd never seen them before. They make me pine for Marwood and McCoist. -

I'd be surprised if Rafa wanted that... I should have added: Aguerro looked very, very good. Quick, good feet, beat players on both sides, took up good positions - you can see why they paid so much for him.

Was in Madrid last month and took in an Atletico game. Torres is technically impressive but looked very lazy at times. I'd be surprised if Rafa went for him. Aguerro did all Torres' running for him.

Rafa keps saying Javier is there to pressure Alonso and provide competition. I've not seen that much of him - anyone think if he starts playing to his potential Xabi could have a real battle on his hands or will Alonso, as now, basically be first choice for defensive midfield when fit?

Torres is obviously very talented. However havig seen him play live (in a league game) he is also very lazy. He did miss a penalty though which would help him fit in.

If we had one of the following in our team how many extra points do you think we'd have this season: Henry Drogba Rooney Ronaldo I think with any of those we'd have at least ten points more. I really haope Rafa, as he's hinted at, buys sparingly this summer but buys absolutely top quality attacking players. One really top level attackin gplayer would move us on a lot IMHO.

I've been on it ten years. I've written to them three times recently telling them I've changed address and asking to confirm I remain on/roughly how many more years etc. Not even an acknowledgement of my letters. Brilliant.

Everton defended well today but the fact you and your fans are celebrating so much says it all. For you and Everton a successful season consists of two results in the derbies. I feel sorry for you, you'll never know what it's like to actually win something important.

Has Rick learnt nothing in all this time? How are we going to get to 100 pages or so of speculation, hassling Elisha etc if Rick is doing this now. Someone needs to get on the phone to Barbados and sort out Rick's next goalkeeping coarse. He'll never get the badge unless he shows a bit of dedication. -
When Carra finally retires what I'll remember him for, more than anything else, was that when we needed him most at home to Chelsea in May 2005 he was utterly magnificent. His performance that night was one of the best I have ever seen by a centreback.

Yes - I was in Madrid and at the game. There was a lot of bad feeling from early on and that was just among the Atheltico fans who at a couple of points were fighting each other. Last ten minutes were ridiculous but the ref basically never had it under control. Aguerro looked very good, Torres loked a bit lazy. -
He is Argentinian, I think.

I was at Athletico's game on Saturday in which he played upfront next to Torres. Looked very good - brilliant dribler, played some nice pass, good movement. I was much less impressed by Torres to be honest. Clever movement but would be surprised if Rafa went for him - his work rate is more Cisse than Kuyt...

Parry prefers Telex. Because Rafa loves his videos so much he's also managed to get a couple of state of the art betamax machines installed.
