  1. That made me laugh - a lot. As did your signature.
  2. Is right. Proper Argentine defending that was. Well in lad.
  3. Season Ticket, Lower Centenary, on the half way line.
  4. Agree with that 100%. Spot on.
  5. Andy, You're talking b******s lad.
  6. Great post.
  7. Is spot on. Is ludicrous.
  8. Utter b******s.
  9. See what youre saying, but I reckon Reo-Coker is the better of the two -just.
  10. I dont think that applies to him anymore.
  11. What I find annoying about all this is the Council trying to 'play hardball' with LFC, saying things like 'put up or shut up' and 'without LFC having funding in place, the whole regeneration project falls through'. Speaking as someone who lived in Anfield for 16 yrs, I'd like to know why the regeneration of an area which is completely on its a***, is solely down to LFC having funding in place. If we fail to come up with the goods, what happens then ? If the worst happens and we cant raise enough money - and we're forced to look elsewhere to build from scratch, what will happen to that area - once it's no longer Liverpool FC's 'responsibility', and the Council (God forbid) have to look into doing something about it off their own bat ? The Anfield area is dying as it is. Without LFC there, the process will just be accelerated, the area will become a ghost town. So maybe, instead of 'playing hardball', the City of Liverpool should be bending over backwards to help the Football Club which bears the City's name - and begging them not to go anywhere else.
  12. St John needs to be in there in my opinion. If only because my Dad named me after him. Seriously though - he should have been top 10.
  13. Just read the match report from last night on the Geordie equivalent of the Echo site. Bizarrely it says that Roeder is furious with the referee, for not giving them a pen (no mention of the Babayaro one), and that "privately, Roeder thinks they could have got more than a draw". Now, I always had Roeder down a some sort of moron, but this has left me bewildered. A 'team' that does not threaten all game, who didnt have any real attempts on goal, whose wingers were, at best inept and whose strike force was utterly toothless - deserved at least a draw, but there manager is disappointed they didnt win. If he means disappointed in the way that, I'm disappointed I havent won the lottery or havent managed to spend the night with Kelly Brook (yet), then fair enough... but FFS, come on ! The most complimentary thing you can say about them last night, was Titus Bramble didnt play. Surely even the gullable, tiresome, moronic 'Toon' cant fall for this s**** ?
  14. Thats exactly how I, and I think a lot of my friends, feel. Good post. Cant help feeling that theres a bit of a 'distance' between himself and the fans these days.
  15. Dont wish to go over the top about him, but there was this step over he did yday, on the edge of his own box, about half way through the second half. We were under a bit of pressure as the ball had pinged about a bit and I just wanted him to put his laces through it. Anyway, he did this step over with Drogba bearing down on him, sent him completely the wrong way and then just walked it out of danger, slipped an easy ball to one of our midfielders. Been impressed with him every game hes playedthis term, but when he did that I thought "f*** me, that was a bit special" ! Excellent lad, keep it going.
  16. Nothing to do with his age, more to do with the fact that he is not playing very well, yet you choose to overlook that and blame Aurelio.
  17. Alternatively, you could turn it round and say that playing outside a centre half coming to the end of his career and struggling for form has hindered Aurelio settling into the team.

  19. Nice. It's a forum for expressing your opinion. Most people do it without insulting others. Get over yourself, assuming your head doesnt explode in the meantime. See, did I say it was Big Samis fault ? No, I said it was a balls up, thats all.
  20. That is true, but I can understand what he was getting at, the whole thing was a balls up as there was no way someone of Aurelios size and aerial ability should have been marking Hulse anyway.
  21. This is what gets on my nerves with Hyypia though - it's always someone elses fault. Henchoz is slowing down, Biscan and now Aurelio, or last season against Chelsea it wasnt his fault he had a 'mare as he was 'ill'. It's as though no-one on here can question him because he's been here that long, and has, in his time here, been superb. But he was poor on Saturday, he was poor against the Israelis at Anfield and he seems to be slower by the game.
  22. Agreed Fred, but Sami seems to be slowing down by the game. That, a not fully fit Carra alongside him, and a genuinely pacey, on form striker in Andy Johnson against him, made it a bad choice imho. I'd put Agger in for now, see how he does. I dont think Sami should be an automatic choice anymore, not just on the game at the weekend. He may come back now and have his best season for us - but he shouldnt be above criticism - or being dropped (not aimed at you Fred btw).
  23. Fair enough. If anyone thinks that if Liverpool had played exactly the same way, with a different ref in charge, the result would have been any different, they have got their head up their a***. The only one I thought was a pen was the Hibbert handball thingy. The other moans are just pathetic. We were shocking today, and we got exactly what we deserved.
