  1. May I suggest Ever Banega. Not a very physical but a hell of a midfielder. Would improve our passing significantly. Lucas and Banega as CM and Stevie behind Suarez
  2. What about Ever Banega from Valencia? He has been outstanding this season. Quick feet, very good on the ball, and decent defensively. I am hoping for at top CD, CM and striker in the next two windows. All of them 15-25 mill players, but I doubt we have the money.
  3. Scored for Uruguay after 4 minutes today
  4. How do you rate Kennys last book, folks? Know it was rewritten after he came back as our manager
  5. With a redevelopment of Anfield, does anybody know what the highest possible capasity would be. Is it possible to redevelope Anfield to a 70.000 stadium, or do we have to settle for 55-60.000? I fear that a redevelopment could be a problem in 7-8 years time when we may want to increase the capasity even more. Anyway I guess our superb new owners will get it right in the end.
  6. The Algerian at Sochaux, Boudebouz, who we have been linked to, scored twice today.
  7. I agree that another top attacking player could turn us into a really strong title contender. It is easy to get carried away after lanst nights performance, but without Luis we are a different side. I know we have been linked to Ezequiel Lavezzi for ages and that it may just be agent talk, but does anyone think he could be the sort of player we need. At the moment I guess he will be to expensive for us, but it would be ace if we could get in aplayer of similar style as Luis, who also could deputise on the wing if necessary.
  8. Whats your opinion on Suso lads? How did he play tonight? Do you think he will make it or will he become another Pacheco?
  9. It is correct mate. Nice to hear from you Swan Red. Hope you are ok. All the best for the new season!
  10. During Liverpools visit to Norway a mate of mine spoke to both Comolli and Ayre at a meeting. They said that a new left back was a priority. Asked about a new central defender Comolli, surprisingly, said that they were not looking for a new one, as Carra, Skrtel and Agger were good enough. He was raving about Agger and did not think injuries was a consern. Together with bringing in a new left back the main priority was to get some of the deadwood out. Asked about Poulsen he smiled and politely refused to comment. My mate got a clear indication that from now on, the club will have a different focusing towards the players we want to get rid of (IMO Poulsen, Degen, Insua, Pacheco, Cole) If no injurycrisis they will not get any time on the pitch for the first VI any more. But, as we all now, they are on big wages and it is very difficult to get rid of. But with the change of attitude towards them it may be easier. I don't know why it has not been done before preseason. If we can get rid of 2 or more of those players my mate got a feeling after speaking to Comolli that we would try to bring in more than just a left back. I know most of this is old news, but I was really surprised that a new CD was not a priority.
  11. Agree. Suarez and Carroll will not play every game. I think (hope) Kenny wants to use Mata both as a wide player in a front three, and together with either Suarez or Carroll when needed. By the way - I would like to throw a ned name in the hat for the wide positions - Antoine Griezmann. He would be a really good buy for 10-12 mill. Typical FSG-buy!
  12. I saw that 30 sec later and tried to delete it but tooooo late. I am clueless !!!!
  13. Let us first try to beat Spurs first, and then announce the appointment of Kenny at Anfield after the match. What would that be? Long live the King !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE YOU KENNY !!!!
  14. Hod did Suso play ? Hope he can get closer to the first team next season.
  15. We often play 4-3-3 now, and Suarez can fit very well in as a left forward. We will also get injuries to our attackers next season. We could still use 40-45 mill on cover at CD, a good left back (Enrique), a good central midfielder and top left wing. IMO we don't need a RW.
  16. I have a feeling that Fenway will splash the cash once again on a top forward. It is just a guess, but I think they can use 35 mill or something like that once again. What do you think? A net spend of 50 mill + the income of sales (70-80 mill. in total) ? Am I dreaming and playing fantacy football or do you think it can be realistic?
  17. I think the Matuidi link is strange. Have seen him in only 2-3 matches but nothing special IMO. Very slightly built and not the dominant CM we need.
  18. Very sad RIP YNWA
  19. A poster on RAWK called DUGlish says that he is out because his groin is not responding. Also saying SG may be out for the rest of the season. Don't know if it is a wind up. Another poster, El Capitèn Reina, have seen SG at "his place" on Merseyside today... :-(
  20. RIP Elliot. I am proud that a boy like you supported LFC. YNWA
  21. We are talking about Sanchez or Young. Sanchez is a right winger/striker and Young is a left winger (rightfooted). In an ideal world we would sign both a right and a left winger, but I would like to know what Kenny and co. prefers. IMO a left winger must be our priority. We have Johnson og Kelly on the right, who both are very good going forward. Our problem is the left side. I don't know if Sanchez can play there and I do not rate Young very highly. I would be over the moon if we could get Hazard (although he also is mainly rightfooted as Young) but doubt we will do. Anyway the summer will be very interesting. I have high hopes with Kenny and Fenway in charge.
  22. This is not convincing either, although the source is s#ite (From Footbalfancast - 26th May 2010):
  23. Anyone knows if John Henry and/or Tom Werner did attend the game yesterday. Didn't see any pictures of them in the stand. If they were at the match they must have been massively impressed by Kenny, the team and the Kop
