  4. Don’t close the thread. Rename it “The Fyds Mystery”.
  5. This chat has plateaued.
  6. Should spend that £10,000,000 on a colossal statue of Fyds.
  7. Car culture? FFS lad.
  8. He served in the Royal Marine Commandos, but wasn’t he SIGINT, based on his current profession? It was also the 1990s. Where could he have served where he might have come away with PTSD? Of course this speculative PTSD may have nothing to do with his time in the forces.
  9. A densely packed crowd with a huge building behind it.
  10. Copied from Reddit: ”…media painting him as a "family man" "father of three" and neglecting to mention that he's far-right whack-job whose hat company Twitter / IG has him following such well regarded and illustrious clowns like Musk, Farage, Tate, Paul Joseph Watson...”
  11. Snipers on the Strand is the pirouette flourish to this monumental f*** up isn’t it. Meantime protect the brave serviceman, blame the fans.
  12. Now seeing a “flatbed truck” was the roadblock to water st, operated by “private contractor”. It was moved to allow ambulance in police say. No mention of this truck until today by anyone. ”Tailgating” claim still going strong. Who told them to move it. Who didn’t tell them to move it back. There’s prior footage from Dale St and subsequent of Water St but none yet of the car actually entering the controlled area. Weird. If only there was a network of cctv cameras covering the entire area which could show what actually happened there.
  13. Interesting. The attack on a crowd with a vehicle is now a “car crash” according to the BBC. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/live/cd62x7zq03et
  14. Interesting in the Independent: ”Police previously said they believed the car that struck pedestrians tailgated an ambulance trying to reach a man suffering from a suspected heart attack inside roadblocks on Water Street, off the main parade route.” When did this become past tense? When everyone realised it was bulls***?
  15. Has the big blue question been answered?
  16. That felt like a Hansen or Kenny thread bump for a moment. FFS.
  17. It’s often the case with nicknames to use the diminutive -inho or augmentative -ão, but the latter occurs in normal words and names. Hope this spares you some distress in the future.
  18. In this case no. Just Steve.
  19. Chelsea also have Estêvão arriving from Palmeiras, who is extremely good. Gutted he is going there. His final game for Palmeiras last night:
  20. Even Fred West’s neighbours thought he was sound. It is f***ing meaningless.
  21. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/footage-shows-unseen-journey-car-31739471.amp There’s no instance in this footage where the galaxy is “tailgating an ambulance” at all. It isn’t even directly behind the ambulance. In fact there’s actually an edit after the ambulance passes until another vehicle even appears.
  22. Especially as the police had deployed snipers on the strand. If the parade was (rightly) considered at risk enough to do that, how can the police then not prioritise securing the roads immediately adjacent. The council made a mess of many things but they’re surely not responsible for operational security and anti-terror strategy. https://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/news/liverpool-news/real-reason-police-snipers-spotted-31731407.amp
  23. I think you’ll find the correct plural is Gandi.
  24. And 3 paragraphs of quotes from a random 59 year old from Winchester absolving the police. He’s more quoted in the article than anyone else. “He said: “You could tell the police there weren’t happy and were asking each other who was letting the cars through. There were probably 20 let through by the time we left and it was sectioned off so badly they were practically driving into the crowds. “Police on the ground were doing their best, I don’t fault them at all, but it was clear it wasn’t under control. I’m not sure at one point, at the planning stage, if there was a breakdown in communication, but there were cars going where they weren’t supposed to be. “There were people having to move their feet so the wheels didn’t go over them and people with buggies just having to stand in front of them to get between them and the cars. The drivers looked scared stiff as well, they didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t the fault of the police there, but it was like a free-for-all.””
  25. They’re shielding themselves from culpability whilst taking all the plaudits for their belated response. If there were no bizzies near the Town Hall and they’d left enforcement of the road closure to volunteers, it’s squarely on the police that he got in. They have it all on cctv, so they ought to show media how the car entered and who was supervising the barrier. Can’t be reiterated enough as we know full well they’ll try to get away without accountability. Here we go. Although seems framed to place responsibility on the council rather than the police tbh.
