  1. We’re c**** aren’t we, on the whole.
  2. https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/may/08/brian-may-hospitalised-gardening-injury-tears-buttock-muscles ”Gardening accident”, sure Brian, sure…
  3. Hard to tell if this solo effort by Roger Taylor was pro or anti-Nazi tbh.
  4. No police on approach to the busiest and most vulnerable part of the route? If not then that’s an organisational failure and still their responsibility.
  5. Police have been reiterating claim that the Ford Galaxy was able to enter an exclusion zone simply by tailgating the ambulance for over 24 hours now. It doesn’t explain how and why the vehicle was allowed to continue into Water St any more than it did yesterday but has now become burned into the “facts” of the incident through repetition. Someone f***ed up, and need to take responsibility.
  6. Oh he can do one.
  7. It’s ace and I won’t hear a word against it. Other clubs don’t understand why it is so Liverpool.
  8. There’s a video knocking around comparing them. Eerily similar.
  9. Good article by Si Hughes asking many of the same questions. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6371956/2025/05/27/liverpool-parade-car-collision-title/
  10. I thought he’d at least remain in football.
  11. And yet he was allowed to drive straight into Water St. Someone either made the call to let him or they weren’t present to stop him. Ambulance story doesn’t explain why and feels like damage limitation to me. I mean, heaven forbid that we of all people might doubt the police when it comes to these kind of situations.
  12. No suggestion he was actually out watching the parade is there?
  13. Yeah I don’t buy the tailgating ambulance line coming from the bizzies now. Doesn’t explain why he wasn’t stopped. If anything adds to air of negligence.
  14. Being treated as attempted murder.
  15. Hopefully they release the cctv of that today. But makes no difference really; the police still should’ve stopped him as he wasn’t driving an ambulance. Did cross my mind unfortunately.
  16. Not tighter restrictions. Actual police enforcing the exclusion zone at its most dangerous and vulnerable bottleneck.
  17. Sounds like Rotherham is gently pointing toward a policing failure.
  18. And the primary location along the route. The biggest concentration of people.
  19. Eyewitness told BBC that driver just had to manoeuvre around a road closed sign at entrance to Water Street. No barrier. Where were police?
  20. Were it not for the Water St incident there would be a lot more noise about transport failures today. Lime Street was a very dangerous situation for hours.
  21. Yes, when properly organised and enforced (by the police) it can be done.
  22. And who is responsible for that messaging being loud and clear? The car should not have been able to drive on that closed road at that time. Who else is responsible for it being allowed to if not the police?
  23. Whatever the facts about the incident are when they become clear, the vehicle should not have been there. That’s a failure of policing and organisation.
  24. No vehicles besides police and ambulances should’ve been on Chapel, Water, Brunswick or James -at least. We don’t know how or why it was. One witness describes the guy beeping when coming onto Water St, assuming from Dale St as not sure how else he would’ve got there.
