tbh i thought he was better than heskey he used his side much better. He scored goals wherever he went. When he was younger though i seem to remember he was a bit injury prone and that put me off a bit.
-
I must admit I would agree with Heskey & Pongolle and even Camara But Barmby was a lot of money for what i thought we got and never was the player her promised to be a spurs.
-
from your list Kippe, Ferri, Song, Traore, Camara, Westerveld, Smicer, Heskey, Diomede, Barmby, Ziege, Vignal, Sjouland, Biscan, Kirland, Dudek, Xavier, Diouf, Cheryou, Diao, Pongolle, Baros Le-Tallec and Kewell I make only these a waste of money being not worth the transfer fee. Kippe, Ferri, Song, Camara, Heskey, Diomede, Barmby, Ziege, Sjouland, Biscan, Xavier, Diouf, Cheryou, Diao, Pongolle, Le-Tallec.

I am sure this is more to do with picking up the dangerous hole men in WC.
-
I dont really think he is having a dig he is just stating what we know that Rafa does not have confidence in him as a striker so he wants to leave nothing wrong with that. At least he is honest and upfront about it.

This could also mean we should not go and sign any players on big contracts lets sell Gerrad we would not be able to afford him if it all goes wrong let prepare for mediocrity
-
Aye but are you saying with the extra cash we would be worse off ???? Everything is a gamble buying players is if we dont make europe etc. I cannot see the 80's repeating itself anytime soon.
-
Say we dont expand and 15 years time we are still missing out on the extra cash and other clubs have expanded past the 45'000 mark should we expand then were do we draw the line.
-
Good player but not first choice for me Fowler is better for us next season and as second choice.
-
When crouch goes off we lose control of the game a bit compared to when he is on but that does not mean that he is vital the only other person as a striker that is supposed to suply that role is Morri he does not so until we have someone who can hold up play and control the game I think we need him big time.
-
When he came on in the FA cup final he was the most effective of our players in taking control of the came not creating chances but making sure we had control if we lost him next year it would prove a great loss for me he does not play enough games when we lose the midfield and our defenence seems poor did is the man to sure us up.

Cisse problems seems like a To******t but at the end of the day i think he is as good as the orginal hype if he gets moved on he will do well. I hate him and love him I am sure that now if we showed faith we could see what we all desire. Move garcia and him on who are deemed luxury players minus their goals we need to sign some really good ppl to make me think its worth it. I am drunk but Cisse or Garcia need to stay perhaps both some ppl say they are not good enough but most (excluding chelski) team that have wone the premeirship have had far worse players as an impact sub i say we are not going to get what he is worth keep him! If he goes so what but i think we may be on verge of finding a good player if we had faith. Some ppl on this board think RB cannot make mistakes he can he is human selling Cisse now might be one. I am not sure if it is but sometimes we have to question if it is his goal ratio proves even when he is s**** he does well. I am not making sense so ill expand on this in the moring or next week. Cheers guys btw why sign defoe atm I think its a risk when we have Cisse he could score as many goal in our team upfront as him. Btw its my view dont shoot me down Ill try to explain when i cant type this easily
-
You sir are a grade a ***** i suppose he should of carried on done half a job and lost us the game as he was carrying a injury he did the right thing for the club not for him self i pity you.
-
Cisse had a great came against westham on the left wasnt it ??? well why not start him on the right and they can switch a bit to keep westham on their toes. West Ham like a high line whilst attacking as there defenders have some pace so why not try to bring some real pace into it to scare them back abit.

ppl mentioning cups it the award is "Barclays Premier League Manager of the Season" surely it for the league only.
-
I wonder if he started all games if he would of got near 20 goals for the season in the league most probably .... I always found it strange the last few times he has played for france he seemed to have scored where as anelka hasnt had a good scoring season since he left Arsenal.

Admit it, we're all going to be supporting England this summer
Ratters replied to a topic in General Football Discussion
Ill support england and the team I will not bring myself to cheer any players on from the Scum or Chealsea. I hope that all liverpool players play 10 times better than the respective collegues. IE gerrad lampard I hope gerrad does better by far to i can laugh at my mates who rate lampard. Support my country yes but i cant say it will be a good thing if lampard scores the winner in the final in fact i think i would rather us be knocked out considering it will be another 35 years of how good lampard was etc. -
Aye and Cisse is more of a goal threat there is a big differance. They should both go neither of them have shown enough to stay.

He often said in interviews that he is overcritical towards liverpool overcompensating for his bias, also as a fan sometimes he gets very frustrated and unfortunatley his rants unlike most is not heard down the pub over a glass but to the whole nation so **** on the internet can rip him appart and accuse him of being a ********. For me he is a liverpool legend who also fell in love with the city and also a fan who wants to see us suceed more than anything.
