Skrtel was immense today. Hopefully he gets given a change. Agger Skho and Skrtel and possible Kolo all could have a should as first choice. Very happy with CB's. Only worry is we need a settled CB line.

Aye ill have some of that especially as the will sell there better players as usual i expect.

Caroll + Suarez = the most dangerous attacking line up in history, not necessary in footballing terms if you get what I mean .

I would like Darren Bent think he gets to much stick and will score goals in the Premier to even if he costs a bit should be low risk as he wont be naff.

100billion would bankrupt them give us a transfer budget to buy every player we wanted. Then build a stadium that would be great. Also the remaining money could be invested making the club richer each year. Also as they went bankrupt we could purchase there assets off them for a small price and have Torres back.

Our midfield probably dont score enough and a attackers probably dont score enough but without Agger in the team we look unbalanced he allows the line to be played high with confidence higher up the pitch he is good on the ball which we have missed massively.

Having a bit of banter at work which at present is quite light hearted but, I started to speak about net spend of the top 4 and including Spurs. Has anyone got the figures ... perhaps even further back as that gives us a good idea of what is going on. I get the general impression over the last few years spurs are spending enough to expect to challenge for the top4 my mate always keeps complaining that they cannot compete in the transfer market due to no CL making it an elite group etc.

Perhaps he wouldnt of been in the postion the messing around effected the players and probably his confidence but he has lost the team now. Same thing happened to Jol before a ball was kicked there were rumors he was gone. Then a side that was doing well last season was in the relagation zone. Undermine the manager and you are going to effect results. Its had its effect now I dont think it can be reversed so rafa will need to go probably.

Just to comment I dont want a new manager atm just started the thread to see what peoples opinion of managers in the premier was. As i get the impression that if your not proven by winning the league in a foriegn country most people believe that managers from the PL couldnt make the step up.

Although he did good in spain the jury is still out for me. We all know that doing well in Spain doesnt mean you going to win the PL easily.

Ok perhaps i should of said they had to have a chance of saying yes. Its not all dross some managers might just need the right club to take over. Although I would agree on being a risk but isnt it always a bit of a risk.

Who would it be I know that the big 4 like to have a proven manager which would normally mean from abroad but lets say you had to choose from the preimer league which manager has achieved success that you think could be moved on to a big club.

To be honest i think the reason they are not doing so well is that he isnt in charge. The director of football is calling the shots like signings etc. Strange thing is thats the reason this all fell appart if they let him do his job sign who he wanted they probably would have won the league last season. That said i hated the man his arrogance took things to new levels. Sometimes though i could fine myself smiling at the daft things he said that were not leveled at other people or teams

Didnt really get hold of the game it became scruffy we missed Mascherano who can make a team tick.

1) Bents ratio is better. 2) Bents is charltons only attacking threat. 3) Charlton are a worse team 4) He would cost us less 5) They are the same age ( torres 1 month younger ) 6) Bent has already done it in the premiership so not as big risk of him doing a nando or forlan.

And i dont think we have enough cash for Villa who as been mooted around 40 million and possible Eto'o would cost us 35 Million ! And Torres seems to be overated but will still cost us 24 Millions probably I mean ppl talk about english tax ! the spanish have it covered atm.

Bellamy has never really been near Bents scoring level.... Newcastle United 93 (28) Blackburn Rovers 27 (13) Liverpool 27 (7) In that theres 1 good season.... I would love Eto as first choice but he might want to go to AC Millan or we might not be able to meet his valution... who knows but Bent could and would improve us. If we sell Bellamy for 10 million then Bents worth 15 at least.
