  2. Please let him be their "big signing" of the summer
  3. Valencia are about to offer £8M for Stevie Gerrard. Also, Recreativo have apparently bid £6,5M for Torres.
  4. Yup, agreed. In fact his posts are too long for me to read as it goes, but the work is greatly appreciated anyway
  5. Sky Sports Scout - We run the rule over Liverpool starlet Dani Pacheco Sky Sports Scout is our exciting feature where we scour the globe looking out for the best talent and bring you a report on what we find. Our Scout will report back and you can comment on what you think of our appraisal. Also, in association with Football Manager, we give all readers the chance to win a copy of the latest game by nominating a player. You can only nominate a player by emailing here, including the word 'Scout' in your subject line. Should your player get reviewed by our scout, and you were first to send in his name, then you will win a copy of Football Manager Live! - which includes a pre-paid four-month subscription. Latest under our scout's gaze is Liverpool youngster Dani Pacheco - recommended by Sky Sports reader Lee Kelly. The scout reports... Liverpool forward Dani Pacheco is tipped for a big future in the game after catching the eye at Anfield. The Reds snapped up the talented forward from Spanish giants Barcelona in 2007 much to the dismay of the Spanish giants. Pacheco caught the eye during last season's pre-season and his skills have made him a big fan among the Liverpool supporters. The 18-year-old is a regular in Liverpool's reserves and he is expected to feature more in the first-team next season. A clever forward, Pacheco makes up for his lack of height and power with a superb touch and eye for goal. Pacheco is more than just a goalscorer as he is also a creator of goals with his vision and awareness. The scout says... If he continues to progress Pacheco could find himself playing a more prominent role in the Liverpool first-team next season. Pacheco is earning himself a big reputation in the reserves and the Spaniard is certainly one to keep an eye on. The Scout rating... Shooting: 8 out of 10 Passing: 9 out of 10 Tackling: 5 out of 10 Heading: 6 out of 10 Pace: 7 out of 10 Vision: 9 out of 10 Current ability: 7 out of 10 Potential ability: 9 out of 10 OVERALL SCOUT RATING: 60/80 Current value: £2million Potential value: £15million Your opinion... You have read our opinion of Pacheco - now we want your views. Have you seen Pacheco? Do you agree with our assessment? Do you think he will make it? And if you have spotted anyone you think we should feature, then please get in touch. We will look to send out the Scout to follow up some of your leads. NAME: Dani Pacheco AGE: 18 (5th January 1991) BORN: Malaga, Spain POSITION: Striker CLUB: Liverpool FACTS: Scored hat-trick for Spain Under 17s against San Marino. Sky Sports Scout Ratings: 0-10 - No hoper 11-20 - Should look elsewhere 21-30 - Might not make it 31-40 - Has work to do 41-50 - Keep an eye on him 51-60 - Great prospect 61-70 - On his way to the top 71-80 - Already World-class It's all very Championship Manager, but I reckon he should be given a shot as I think there's more potential there than in N'Gog for instance.
  6. He belongs to Jesus though, so not sure about the transfer fee etc.

  8. I'd bid for Sneijder and/or Robben if I were Rafa, regardless of the Xabi situation. They are both excellent players although Robben can be a bit hit and miss at times. Also, Joe Cole would be a wonderful signing.
  9. f*** me! If true, that has made all these pages of idle speculation all worthwhile.
  10. By my calculations that's the 27th time this question has been asked this summer. And that's only in this thread.
  11. I always thought he was a great prospect and having seen him at Pompey last season especially, I think he's probably the best rb in the league along with Sagna.
  12. Why would Wal-Mart want to advertise in the UK/Europe/Asia? Isn't it a chain, which predominantly operates in the US?
  13. Judging by the past, it's very much likely that Owen would himself be injured whenever Torres needed to be covered.
  14. He's hardly played that many in total after he left us. Anyway, stop this nonsense - he's not signing for us, thank God. Link
  15. But that was a joke, wasn't it. Cos if it wasn't, I'd send Capello straight down to the nearest asylum and lock him down permanently.

  17. If we signed Owen, he'd play about 7 games all season assuming Torres doesn't have another injury filled season. So how the hell would he be anywhere near the England squad with that amount of games?
  18. Make it f***ing stop now. Every bloody summer, every bloody thread on the forum.
  19. Sack Parry?
  20. Apparently Rafa commented on the recent speculation: "It doesn't Mata if we can't buy a Villa from Spain, cos' every cloud has a Silva lining.
  21. Much rather you to him as well.
