As a left back I know which player I would rather have to defend against in Pennant or Kuyt. Pennant can get behind defenders and cause trouble Kuyt cannot, in fact Kuyt causes almost zero threat to defenders.

To me he is not good enough. He does not break into the box and does not hug the line. When he does get the ball, he has no idea what to do with it and usually passes it back to the RB ( JC yesterday) but then stands still rather than bombing upfield stretching the defence. Tell me what he give the team that benny or pennant would not. He had so much time and space yesterday but rearly ever used it. Sorry for me he is not a wide player. I personally think the very fact that the remortgage was only 18 months tells its own story. These loans cost a small fortune in fees and to avoid this you sort out a decent term before you have to do it again. They have not done that its only 18 months so they must think that something will change. If they intended to hang around the loans would have been for a much much longer term.

The one thing that makes no sense is that if G & H are going to sell for x million why are they not authorising the sale of assets such as riise, crouch or momo. The income would all be profit as it reduces there debt and means for cash when DIC pay whatever over the outstanding loans and overdrafts. This is what asset strippers do.

He is no where as good as the press make out. The number of saves reqd per game is very low, but oddly his save per shot % is not that high. That is the measure that should be used, plus clean sheets and he is not top in either.In fact he is not even in the top 5 on the actim index. He has a fantastic team to protect him. They very rearly let in goals from set pieces, and hardly ever get pens given against them. The FA should have said no boxing hat this year, but they have and never will stand up to Chelsea. Ballack should be cited for his elbow, it wont happen.

Yup he was awful. He is even worse on the right than the left of midfield. I just dont understand why the manager will not play him as a striker, esp when the striker in Voro was stinking the place out, but no take Ryan off and leave Voro stinking the place up and making a mess of every piece of possesion he has.

The only thing i expect from strikers is to attack. I dont want him on the half way line, I want them leading the line. Voro and Kuyt are both terrible strikers. They offer zero threat on their own. Why we spent £20 mil on the dutch players and play neither of them as strikers is beyond me. At least we only waste wages and sign on fee on Voro. TBH I dont think he would stand out in a Tranmere team let alone deserve a liverpool shirt. Get rid ASAP

But Rafa is starting to sound just like Ged in his final months. Starting to use stats to prove that everything is OK. We are told we had 28 shots last night. So f***ing what, how many saves the keeper had to make is a much more useful stat. Was that 3 or 4? We were f***ing awful AGAIN against a f***ing awful team. We made them look good, but they were s****. All we seem to do at present is run around a lot with no pattern whatsoever. 2 strikers who are afraid to get in the penalty area and if my some wonder they find them selves in the area with the ball what do they do with it either f***ing blast it or more likely get rid of it fast usually straight to the opposite team. Rafa players - rafa formations - rafas c**k up time and time again. Everything is not Ok in fact everything is s***, we stink the place out and the sooner we get rid the better. I dont see the new owners sitting on their arses watching it fall to s*** like Moores. Yes rafa needs the rest of the season and he needs torres playing every single game as the oither strikers stink or cannot be bothered any more.

Just look at the players selected for any game this season and tell me those players are not good enough to win the game. The great irony is our manager always bangs on about the team blah blah blah. But the one thing we dont have is a team. We have a collection of expensive players. We have never had a team with Rafa. Those players will not fight for this club. I cannot remember going into the next game 100% positive we will win, plenty of games its we SHOULD win. This CL group should have been a piece of cake. We will now go through the rest of the season in hope rather than expectation. All I expect is that in the remaining 30 odd prem games we will lose 7 or 8 draw another 10 and win 12 or 13 and hope to come 4th ahead of man city / blackburn etc I think this will be his last season. Fact remains that with exception of torres rafa screwed up in the transfer market buying players we did not need and not buying players for positions we did need. How many more years until he buys a left back and a left winger. It reminds me of the Roy Evans era when we kept not buying a CH when the whole world knew we needed on. We only have 1 striker now as he wont play Crouch which lives Kuyt and freebie Voro. Lets face it Kuyt is s*** as a striker and Voro looks every bit fit for Wigan or Watford. Well done boss.
