dont know which I would like more - beating Barca in the CL Cup final or Beating Chelsea

we put out a team shorn of 5 first teamers and owing to injury we ended up shorn 7 first teamers thats the real reason ( the underlying reason for that selection is.. unlike Man U, Chelsea, Arsenal we are still trying to qualify for the CL, thats a 10m game !!! - Arsenal won 3-1 so they are effectively through, our game is more in the balance than theirs ) once we qualify if we do the same again - then I would agree its reason for disappointment

its not just gelling it was also about saving players for the CL Qual game which is worth 10m !

so the kid from St Etienne has signed ? what's happening with the Greek kid ?

if we want another defensive midfielder we could go for that ex evertonian at Real Madrid - he should be cheap and give us cover for 2 seasons I forget his name Micky Roque isnt ready for the DM role yet

would love to know more about these players weren't we interested in a young striker at the club Cisse's just been loaned too ?

if its true and united and chelsea are in for kuyt we need a plan b and c and d because we're not gonna get kuyt there is klose, Yakubo, Trez on loan , Anelka -- there are options and we should be looking into them

I would say if kewell plays well til jan an offer of a new performance based contract should ensue - if not then sell either in jan or the summer

until we get Kuyt/Klose or someone who can substitute for Crouch I would like to keep Le Tallec I would like to see him play up front alone and with Bellamy - Le Tallec is best with a pacey striker running off him

actually if ALT beefs up, I think hes more chance of a game than pongolle hes just what we need as a crouch ALTernative can link up play, can hold the ball and use it, good in the air wonder if ALT is on the swiss trip ?

Pennant has the stats to back up his good delivery, now it Gonzales can do the same all we'll need is a striker like Klose to put away the chances - I seriously think that Crouch would be good enough at converting crosses

thats why I would prefer Klose over Crouch or Kuyt - he reminds me of Fowler

I want to do what I'm good at which is getting past players down the line and getting plenty of quality crosses into the box. The stats say you put 497 crosses into the box last season - more than any other Premiership player. With Peter Crouch and others to aim for, the right side could be productive for Liverpool this season... Crouchie is a great target man and of course I'll be looking to make the service into the box as good as possible. I'm sure he's looking forward to it as well. I just want to work hard and improve as much as I can to play an important role for the team. I'm more than confident. My best will come at this club because I am playing alongside top quality players who will only help me develop my game. I think those are the lines that matter the most
