I only have one beef against Crouchy ( I'll come to that later ) to me Peter Crouch is a hero, sure I thought he wasnt good enough for liverpool but he put his head down and worked hard, learned and improved now his confidence is high and he looks like becoming an increasingly valuable player for us So far so good my only beef against Crouchy is that he's not yet scored 11 goals in 10 games for us !!! until he does that on a regular basis I'll moan - I would prefer his top goal scoring exploits to come for us I like the lad, I have increasing respect for him and his performances and ask the question, with his confidence so high can Rafa drop him ?

I think this is where a link player that can run with the ball comes in - they cold the ball up take it a further 10 yards commit defenders then play it wide to the wings - maybe Bellamy can do this, maybe Kuyt can do this - but right now Crouch can't Also we really need someone who can take advantage of the fact that Pennant and maybe Gonzales will be double teamed - that shoud provide space for someone to run into - we cant alway rely on Alonso to pass into the space - its an opportunity for Bellamy and our other strikers to exploit
