I was told Rafa thinks for the good of the team Stevie should be having Mulligatawny. Apparently this has pissed Gerrard off no end Not sure if its true or not but a mate of mine reckoned they saw Mourinho turning up at Stevies house with a bag full of....you guessed it.... scotch broth!! -

Any truth to the rumours he has recently changed his favourite soup?? I heard it used to be chicken, but due to the chicken content steadily reducing he has run out of patience and switched to scotch broth. -

Time to give Pennant a rest. Gerrard right, Gonzalez left.

I cant see what Pennant is offering to make Rafa switch Gerrard. I would like to have seen Pennant off at half time with Gerrard moved to the right and Bellamy to the left.

Im dying for Pennant to succeed as he plays for the team i love. The reality though is that he was rubbish yesterday as he was against PSV. He had so much of the ball and did nothing with it. No pace, no drive, no delivery. We shelled out a fair bit of cash for Pennant and at present it baffles me that we are shifting Gerrard around to get him in the team. Needs to improve quickly.

Loved the way he was really shouting at and trying to motivate the team at 2 down on Saturday. I was really dissapointed he did not start against Everton.

It may well be getting that way. I know Aurelio is giving Sami some extra work to do but i dont think you can put all the blame at Aurelios positioning. Any team with a quick strikers will just isolate Sami all game.

Destroyed us on Saturday. Was always going to be a great signing for Everton. Hyypia eventually stopped trying to tackle him and just resorted to shoulder barges and obstruction. Can we buy Sami some new boots which make him run a bit faster?

Only let down was Alves but i have never seen him play anyway, obviously Rafa wanted him though. Im chuffed with our signings. Particularly excited about Kuyt and Gonzalez.
