We are awful at the moment and as bad as the players were yesterday, Rafa is as much to blame. Gonzalez was our best player yesterday and gets taken off for Pennant, who continues to look like the biggest waste of money since Diouf.

Sissoko was gash yesterday, didnt control the ball once all afternoon. Him and Alonso in the centre doesnt work in my opinion as neither want to get forward at all. When Sissoko gets near the box he just panics and looks to get rid as soon as he can. This guy is far from the player some on here like to make out.

Agree with Anny Road, really like the way Bellamy goes about his work. I would always start him as he scare centre halfs with that pace.

Fairly disgraceful even by Chelsea standards. First referees, now operations and emergency services. The line about being outraged at Cech having to be taken in a lift in a wheelchair makes no sense. Did he expect them to carry him down the stairs?? Still takes everyones mind off the groundsman throwing loads of sand on the pitch eh?

Unfair to lay all the blame at his feet as the defense was poor also. Fact is though if he stays on his line its an easy save.

As i said earlier he came out for a ball he was never going to get, realised this then didnt get back on his line quick enough leaving virtually an open goal.

Reina half comes out then changes his mind. Problem is he then didnt move back so when the shot was hit he was nearer the penalty spot than his own line. He stays on his line he makes an easy save
