Who thought for 25 minutes last night we were playing total football. 3-4-3, 3-5-2, 5-3-2. 4-4-2. Totally flexible. 5 or 6 players who you would struggle to say were playing in any particular fixed position. West Ham barely touched the ball. Great stuff

Gerrard was easily MOTM yesterday. An excellent disciplined performance putting Ballack and Lampard completely in his pocket. Although the manc taxi driver yesterday informs me he is wasted in our team and we are a one man team. c***

Definately, played really well.

Outstanding today, man of the match just ahead of Kuyt. Playing in a deeper role today doing a lot of work. There were 2 english capatains playing today one was dominant throughout the other utterly ineffective
