I got the impression it should have been a cross, but I'm constable with the outcome. Got to make hay wain the sun shines.

I think he's great. His engine and off the ball work are both outstanding.

I watched that again (for the umpteenth time) a few weeks back.

The Zubimendi deal falling through might just be the making of Gravenberch. Excellent second half from him today. -
Glass half full take - it could well end up being another bullet dodged. Feels like he might not have settled if the deal had gone through. I'd be surprised if there is no plan B. Some of our plan B signings have worked out for us in the past.

Bajtetic is obviously not match sharp, but my first impression is that I'd forgotten just how good he is. A couple of sublime touches/turns combined with a 'bike on the motorway' -
And hair I go again on my own To the only Anfield Road I've ever known As a koppite, I will never walk alone And I've made up my mind I ain't wasting no more time But hair I go again

I was reading somewhere that while Amorim likes his 343 with a flat 4 and 2 wingbacks, he has also played it with a diamond midfield.
-
Apparently, he's currently second (to Virgil) in minutes played for us this season.

I think Endo got a toe on that -
Binomial in biology is the two names that identify a species, such as our own 'homo sapiens'. I think (also assuming ) we might be seeing living proof that homo erectus is not extinct after all!

He's such a good all rounder. He's playing like a Mascherano/Alonso hybrid, combining some of the best attributes of both.
