You can't blame a manager for spending money that's given to him. Spurs are well run and he's doing well.

Redknapp does the obvious really well. As much as you can make an argument that the London media overrate him it is possible that there is a snobbisheness attached to those that dismiss him and his talents and how crucial they are.

I'm not sure there is such a thing as inverted racism. Surely it's just racism? Anyway I can see your point. I'm not sure I agree. If the colour of your skin is why you are being oppressed then bring it to the fore and get it in people's faces. Don't hide it behind anything cushty which will make the oppressor feel more comfortable. It's not their job to name you.

I don't know any of that. I just posited the most obvious answer. On a prima facie level (which presumably is how those without an emotional stake view this whole thing) it looks like the sort of thing the SBL should be interested in. On a more cynical level, hands up if you'd heard of the SBL before.... Yeah, thought so.
