  1. Hearts: we are so creative, and will continue to be if robbie replaces any of crouch, kuyt or bellamy, that all we need do is tell robbie his only requirement is to finish off the numerous chances that will come his way Heads: robbie was being called blobbie even by man city (who?!) fans. he seems to have lost a yard of pace since last season. raffa gave him an extra year in the hope he could get him fitter, but unfortunately he has gone the other way. it is hard to think of a top team who would play him. in modern football, and particularly in rafa's teams, you cant have a striker picked purely as a fox in the box. they have to be up to speed, and robbie, sadly, is not. i really dont see this as a runner
  2. think i saw that miles was playing for macclesfield
  3. sounds like a line-up for revenge too!
  4. what with the cricket world cup getting more exciting am i the only one who thought the title of this thread should concern whether it is time for robbie to be given a runner?

    Adam Hamill

i meant usefulsquad player as in expecting him initially to be on the bench and capable of making an impact after 75 mins. i didnt want to go overboard!

    Adam Hamill

lets hope he goes to a slightly cr@p premiership side next season - as scott carson has done - and gets a massive amount of experience and development, and comes back to us the season after as a very useful squad player at least

    Adam Hamill

more like a waddle at present from what i have seen. obviously he is really the next adam hammill
  10. count your blessings. on RAWK some punters are advocating signing alan phucking smith.
  11. better than THIS IS TESCOS every little helps
  12. things i remember about jockeys were 1 although everyone else said he was so cool, he says he got terrible nerves before a match 2 his favourite partner in defence was tommo not lawro.
  13. http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=4...:+We+must+focus coat on
  14. again, like emile we should not use the "on his day" criterion this summer. darren huckerby apparently scored a cracker for norwich last night.
  15. i'm no' 'aving tha'....stevie that is whereas carra's pretty much the only future candidate i can see of those with a liverpool link. maybe when he's 40 and has been someone's no 2 for a few years. he might well be at least a squad player until 35.
  16. read a few chapters of mcgraths which came in a promo booklet free with 442. brilliant. amazing how such a player could prepare so badly for matches and still get away with it, and be accepted and respected by team-mates. is the book out now then? owens - unsurprisngly, he comes across as the ruthless, cold-blooded,confident and driven pro he is painted as gerrard - agree - came across as surprisingly insecure and indecisive barnes - all i remember is he kept going on about DNA in football
  17. its a conspiracy against moaninho - to make him even more mad with the 5m man mr arnesen!
  18. no, that was someone else i remember his name now - you mean adam pepper
  19. yep, done my complaint by beeb website and mayo email. had done the mayo email first but only as i had the details to hand - got a bounceback which has the beeb details which I'd in the meantime got from RAWK but are below if anyone else wishes to complain: "If you've a complaint or question to which you require an answer, please go to the Five Live website at www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive and click on Contact Us on the left-hand side. This will direct your enquiry to the right place and ensure it's dealt with properly." remember the backlash to the tsunami joke - was it rod marsh who was sacked? joking about tragedies is simply indefensible.
  20. so how many complaints will the bbc get?
  21. 9 goals in 14 starts....hmmmmmmmmmmmmm....!
  22. cheers cobs, but i want it live! have nicked an absent colleague's digital radio but cant tell from bbc website. anyway, about an hour to go, will know soon... i want bayern after they shipped loads of goals cheers
  23. or any other radio station?
  24. well we were progressive into their goal twice in their own back yard, and only failed to be progressive into their goal by the narrowest of margins on 3-4 occasions last night. so why should we let old right-guard's tactical analysis bother us?
