  5. Going to be honest. Long time subscriber here and really think the stuff TAW doing is great, genuinely spot on but I really think Josh really got this one wrong on his contributions on the Chiesa podcast. I agree with John's sentiments on reflecting on recent events and just feeling down about. Bit of context. I think the song is fine, but like Gibbo I did have a moment when it started where I thought hang on? I specifically disagree with Josh and others on the idea of not taking the guilt of 1985. No we shouldn't live with the guilt as people who weren't around or involved in, but we also carry the memory and walk in the footsteps of Hillsborugh and we are mindful of that and respectful. We need to be equally the same when it comes to Heysel. I felt it was far too dismissive for my liking. The song is fine, but I felt the arguments used around Heysel and 'carrying' it are the same things we do quite rightly for the memory of those in 1989, I felt the guys where far too dismissive of potential connotations than they should have been.
  6. Don't think we get him now tbh He won't be fit for a while He will be too expensive They won't get a replacement in
  7. Tony Evans has a massive chip on his shoulder But if I’m being 100% honest I’ve never liked the line ‘crying in Turin’. I did think at some point it could be used against us, but not from Tony Evans
  8. My only red flag about yesterday was that (and its to be expected) the players are still learning to play with one another. Hugo looks a player btw - someone said it to me a few weeks ago that he has a touch of the Torres about him, and I didn't see it until yesterday. I really hate Wembley

  20. My head goes periodically west when I think about what’s happened. what his family is going through, I have no words
  21. The leadership at the club have been exemplary the last week. There is no playbook for this sort of thing and they’ve pretty much hit a home run. The words and how they’ve represented the football club deserves incredible credit. You can imagine huge aspects of this have been both a logistical nightmare but also the people on the ground have no doubt been putting a shift in. Diogo’s family and especially his wife visiting Anfield so soon demonstrates a level of strength that is just jaw dropping.
  22. My favourite ever moment was when he told the Leicester Fans to f*** off in the league cup penalty shootout.
  23. Really not fussed what anyone does. its not even the Jota thing.
  24. Yeah think he’s come across really well
  25. It’s a real cliche but in any other walk of life you’d be expected and would just get on with life, the only parallel I can give on this is that a colleague passed away suddenly a few years ago, without going into details it was a combination of horrific and deeply deeply upsetting on a personal level. I and others went back to work the next day though if we needed time or support it was offered. You have to move on, the human tragedy makes it difficult to reconcile I accept. My thoughts really do mainly focus on his family and their pain. It does all seem irrelevant in times like this but such is the nature of the game we all follow. The love, support and focus should move onto their family (not that it hasn’t been) but there it should remain whilst giving our boys the support they need when we get back in the ground.
