I really don’t know how the players play for the foreseeable tbh. Not that I’m particularly bothered if they do or not but again just another thought that has crossed my mind amongst a bunch of other things.

My cousins kids lost their father at a young age. In my experience Kids are exceptionally resilient. They’ll be surrounded with love. its the sadness of what is lost. 28 Years Old

At the risk of sounding completely off a number of thoughts have gone through.my mind the past few days. 1. God I love our lads. The noise around Trent feels like a complete irrelevance. Embarrassing. I love them all, unequivocally. They’re our boys 2. How is this game such a big part of our lives, it’s meant to be a distraction and the euphoria of winning the league, the recent parade incident and now this. It’s so jarring 3. It’ll change the club this. I thought Mourinho was wonderful when he said that it will add to our soul and that is something I think is true. Seeing the boys in Portugal overnight, even those no longer of our club all together just shows a humanity that we perhaps don’t ever really truly appreciate. Proud of every single one of them and proud they are associated with our club I pray the family take just some form of comfort from it all. They’ll be loved and looked after by so many people

I feel a huge of sense of guilt to be as completely heartbroken as I am by what’s happened. God bless his family. Give them strength

Floored by the news. What a player and what a man. What a tragedy. God Bless his family.

I'm desperate for him to give it one more year. Liverpool fans who are boss at footie should always be welcome and invested in

I don't think we've met but I think you're dead funny and sound.
-
Yeah I get that, but you dig deeper on anyone you'd wince. Anyway, just making the point about him because genuinely he was one of the people I've met off the forum somewhat briefly who I left with an overwhelmingly positive impression of. On the flip side I've met people who come across as just obnoxious, condescending and genuinely made me feel uncomfortable. But I've never really held that against them, not everyone can like everyone and it might have been a bad day. I'll die on this particular hill about 4Pool.
-
I just got a sense that he was and is a thoroughly decent person. Not spoke to him for years but I enjoyed his company, you know when you meet some for a few hours and go - 'yeah nice man him'
-
He was sound, honestly, dead sound. It was probably 20 years ago now but he was absolutely sound.

Once again I am inclined to make the point that 4Pool was one of the nicest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Now that its done, it feels very different to the ones that have gone before. Big fan of Hughes negotiating a 'f*** you' £10m btw. I'd get a parade out just for that.

The woman who was on Leeds St couldn’t have been any older than 18-19 and may have been agency staff. I was expecting the cordon on Dale St to be at the entrance near the tunnels not further down as recent videos show more cars going down it. f***ing incredible

On the parade route the actual closures of the roads where relatively flimsy. A few traffic cones and someone young in a high viz who would move the cones if emergency vehicles came to pass, the cones where only removed just before the bus came by police on bikes and then they would remain on the junction I've not seen it but I can only imagine that the cordon that the ambulance went through was similar. I.E An ordinary paid person who moved cones and that is when the car tailgated. There would have likely been no police vehicle there. I can't imagine that the road was massively busy - weirdly as someone whose car was on the outskirts of the city it wasn't difficult to get out of Liverpool by car when you walk into the outskirts and I would imagine at the time the car got through the entrance of Dale St it would have been relatively calm compared to further down. Dale St isn't a very long road you can get down it in less than 30 seconds going 30mph and assuming no traffic. I can very well imagine the only presence at the bottom of that road was 1 or maybe 2 people who where hired as part of traffic management to move cones every so often, and that is when the car forced its way through. Had there been Police it would have/should have pulled it over but it looks like there wasn't police at that junction.

Freed from Desire is an absolute banger it's this generations we are the champions... It was incredible v Spurs btw

When you think about the numbers that went through the train station even 10% of that is 5x what an average day looks like at Lime St
-
Isn't he effectively screwed anyway with being suspected as being under the influence? He shouldn't have even been in the car. I can't be certain but if he's come from that way - I highly doubt town would have been busy. Only where he got up to on Dale St would he then start seeing people coming from the Leeds Street area. On the parade route it whilst the cones had been in place on roads quite early, they only had been moved for the bus very very late on. I can't speak on the robustness of the blockage when he come down Dale St. The one thing I would say is (and I'm speculating) I can't imagine that it would have been that busy on the entry, onto Dale St from that point of town compared with where the original altercation happened. The robustness of the blockage on the main routes going into the city has to be questioned. I appreciate these things need to be moved relatively quickly but not that quickly.

Thank f*** for that. Almost shed a tear
