Not sure if youre being serious there. I, on the other hand, was 100% serious. Hes good enough on the ball, and athletic enough, to stick out that position for a month at least. Hes a better option than Spearing in any case.

i didnt phrase it well sorry. in short, i dont feel that carroll lacking match sharpness is a valid excuse after a solid pre season and three months into the season. in my opinion.
how far into the season do you feel we need to be for it to be unacceptable for a professional football, who has had intensive pre season training and three months of matches and other training, to to be deemed unfit to be assessed properly?
may be speaking for myself here but i dont take much solace in the fact that the only descriptors that can be applied to carroll tonight are those usually reserved for "negative" players.
Very good game that, we played pretty well. Kudos to Henderson, Bellamy, Lucas, Kelly, Coates and Maxi. Long list but i feel they all played really well. Shame about Carroll.
