  1. WOOOOONDERFUUUUUUULLLLL
  2. So, what have we learnt in 45 minutes, gang? 1. Bringing down the last man on a goal scoring opportunity ISN'T a sending off offence. 2. Bringing down a man on the edge of the box with studs showing, legs wrapped around theirs and not being anywhere near the ball ISN'T a yellow card. Thank you for the clarity, Friend. Thank you.
  3. YEEEESSSSSS!!! f*** OFF, FRIEND!
  4. We're controlling the game, though. They're just doing Chelsea away tactics and parking the bus. Far too many high balls into the box against a big-defence-with-loads-of-bodies-in-the-box for my liking.
  5. Defo have to think about goal difference. Going to be tight with City.
  6. With them having 3 at the back constantly why is Sterling not playing? We're clearly having our best opportunities from the flanks.
  7. Just rotate him with Enrique whilst also have him tutor him of sorts. Switch Flanno back to the right where he's more comfortable and, in theory, problem solved...
  8. Definitely, but given that he'd be BIG money BR would surely be under pressure from the owners to start him regularly wouldn't you think?
  9. I know how this may sound before you read the main point I'm going to make but please try to understand where I'm coming from - Is Shaw the answer for us next year? What I'm saying is, do you think he will be ready for the sheer influx of games, not to mention the international fixtures he'll have? I know the answer is probs yes but I just have this horrible anxiousness that we'll sign people who aren't ready for CL level yet.
  10. We just need to be careful we don't ship out too many. I hate these short sighted eejits that say we should sell Agger and Allen etc. I had a pop at Agger yesterday and many other days this season and last, but we need strength. If we were given a very tempting offer for Glen I'd be happy enough to see him go, albeit with a heavy heart, but we certainly need the depth given the competitions next year.
  11. Yeah he does, last season he was class, he also had an annoyingly good game against us at Anfield. He's made sooo many mistakes this year though. To be honest though, I don't really know who I'd want or, more importantly, who would fit in at CB for us - Other than him being right footed.
  12. Possibly but needless to say I'd be disappointed if SSN stated 'Liverpool sign Jay Rodriguez'. The statisticians may slay me for that but I'd rather go for others, preferably inside forward-types. Rather him than Vertonghen though, la. Across the course of the season anyway...
  13. Agreed lol, but seriously, signing 3 players - as some have mentioned - from the same club, especially one in the same league as us, is almost certainly not going to happen. Shaw should be top of the list from Southampton without doubt. The problem with that he'll probably have at least a £25 mil price tag around his neck. Doesn't leave much to play with when we also need a CB, CM and another attacking player across the front 3 - all capable of playing in the CL that is.
  14. Oh definitely, I'm just talking about the here and now. We really need to address the first team this summer and I just think the CM role is a higher priority. Great if he could fill in there though.
  15. Was said in the media not so long ago that they would sell if they can regain what they spent on him. Would take with a pinch of salt, like, but you never know!
  16. I think Reus is asking a bit much, even with Champions League - maybe more likely if we win the league. The former two are a great shout though, but I think we need a more central midfield type as opposed to someone deeper like Koke. Good shouts though.
  17. Should have been more specific - Against a team with a goal difference such as ours. Isn't Arsenal's 19 or something?
  18. Out of Chelsea and City who do predict to be the most likely for us to beat? I'm saying Chelsea. Their 'park the bus' tactics are wearing thin. IMO anyway.
  19. RP, today was one of the banana skins I was predicting the other day. It didn't happen. Your confidence is rubbing off on me.
  20. Does anybody know if we are still interested in signing Will Hughes? Only got a few minutes today but I believe he's having a great season for Derby.
  21. 4 goals away from breaking all time PL goals in a season. 8 games to go. Come on, Luis!
  22. Looking a better striker than Drogba was in 2010. Frigging saying something, that.
  23. Those two games City have in hand are annoying me beyond reckoning now!
  24. Magical stuff
  25. I never liked the sound of that happening. Champions League and you have him as a potential signing? I'll pass.
