that is exacty it. we cannot compete with Utd and Chelsea in the transfer market because the club has been run by dinosaurs for 20 years. this limitation has been hidden by the results of a couple of very good managers in the last ten years but the fact remains that to win the premiership you need a good business in place first (or a filthy right russian gangster) in order to fund heavy investment on players. Wehave spent the equivalent of Spurs and newcastle in the last few yeasr, yet we have won the european cup and the FA Cup. True, Wenger has talent for buying players, but also Arsenal seems to be run well as a business, shown by the fact that they were in the top5 of that revenue league that came out the other day, despite the fact they have just built a stadium in the centre of London that cost a packet. they will get stronger also. we will only get more competetive in the league and financially when we launch all the board out the door and start making the big money that the Liverpool FC brand is capable of.

there is quite a few for sale in Barcelona, but the flights are impossible. there is one direct flight to Athens with costs 1200 euros return. Any other connections via Milan, Roma, Zurich, Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava etc has nothing available or is coming out near the 2000 euros mark.
