Mig is (with a few obvious exceptions, Arsenal being the latest of them) a great shot stopper who does not control his box at all on set pieces and has terrible distribution. From what i've seen of Karius he has all of Mig's bad qualities without the great shot stopping. He hasn't had a long run in the side due to injury or being dropped. It's obvious we're going to get a keeper in the summer (and with any luck not a moneyball one) but i would honestly prefer Mig until the end of the season than Karius given what is still at stake and that now is not the time to be experimenting. Klopp really does seem to have a blind spot when it comes to keepers. We don't know what's going on behind the scenes with Mig though which might have hastened his demise. And i would take Dudek any day over either of these two and he wasn't that great a keeper. Also Joyce has written in the times today that we'll defo be having a new keeper in the summer and that Allison is the top priority (and he can't be got now) So we're definitely seeing the last days of Mig.
