  1. The problem they have now is it's going to be increasingly hard for them to simply our muscle clubs in the transfer market. The English clubs now have the ability to tell them to f*** off. When before they could just about pay anyone's price. Even now with the 220m from Neymar they're struggling.
  2. Some good news. Baggies back in for Sakho. So I think we can assume Evans is off.
  3. If they get enough internet followers they can start spamming them with gambling affiliate links.
  4. He won't. He'll be back in the team from August 31st onwards.
  5. He's off to Madrid. Just a case of if being sorted with their transfer ban.
  6. Scoring against crap teams at home is not to be sniffed at tbh. Times past we have been missing something like that.
  7. Isn't part of the issue is that his is a permanent injury that has to managed?
  8. I honestly see the only way we would sell is if Phil were to go full VVD on us and the offer was something like 150.
  9. Balague (I know I know) seems to think this is the Barca press trying to push their board into action and that we won't talk to them.
  10. Joyce has said in the Times that Barca are going to offer around 120m. That it'll be rejected, he's not for sale and that Phil isn't going to push the move. Exact same situation as Keita basically.
  11. For me: The stuff Klopp came out with about him being happy with his CBs and the rumoured Chelsea bid.
  12. VVD latest is not a lot going on http://www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/virgil-van-dijk-liverpool-transfer-13424168
  13. The problem with FFP is the way Spanish buyout clauses are done is that the player has to buy himself out. Consequently it was very easy for PSG to come up with this ambassador role for Neymar and have Qatar rather than them pay him. They couldn't have done it if they were buying Neymar from a club in the prem as the transfer fee would have had to have come from PSG and FFP kicks in.
  14. That goal about as Sturridge as it gets. World class finish and getting injured in the process.
  15. From Rawk I think seated capacity would go down. But standing would either stay similar or go up? That is without reprofiling the stepping on the Kop. Maybe check what has happened at Celtic.
  16. Just to make our need for a CB even more vital Gomez has a knee injury.
  17. If he has another season like the previous one half of Europe will be after him at 48million.
  18. Absolutely agreed with that. I'm pretty sure they knew Suarez had one more year after the 40+1 and new contract. There was probably also a release clause. And we end up scrabbling around and signed a player the manager didn't want in Balotelli. I think Cavani was mentioned but that was it. Sterling went full little s*** bag and I didn't particularly mind him being sold but from now on we should basically not be selling to any rivals.
  19. They pretty much are happy with Navas. Who is a great keeper.
  20. Really don't know but with all the money Milan have been throwing around I'm amazed they didn't go in for him. Gotta be a reason.
  21. I think it takes him doing a VVD strike and 140m plus. Barca can't afford that unless Neymar goes and even then I still think this Phil stuff is more about persuading Neymar to stay.
  22. I don't think we can get Auba. Pretty sure he's after a China payoff. There is a reason no one went in for him before Dortmund have said their internal sales window is closed. He's after absolutely bonkers wages.
  23. The draw of the Spanish giants is obvious for the Latin American players not a lot you can do about it aside from do what Leipzig are doing. Pretty sure Suarez had a release clause for Barca put in when he signed the contract after we told Arsenal to f*** off. The Torres sale was gutting at the time but actually the right decision. It was made crap by who we replaced them with. Not that bothered by Sterling but would rather we didn't sell to prem clubs.
  24. It's not too good to turn down when we can't buy the players we want even with 75million bids. He must stay. At least for this season. Also if we suddenly had another 150 mil in our pocket the asking prices for players we want would go up again. Unless you get them all in before announcing the sale (like Spurs with Bale)
