Yes exactly. It's one of the arguments used against safe standing though (which I don't subscribe to, just pointing it out) If it's done properly I'd be all for it. But I don't see it as a panacea to bring back atmosphere to the grounds.

With safe standing you're still assigned your spot and you're expected to stay there. When this is done it's going to be more safe than everyone standing in seating areas as they do now. The problem comes if people decide to move around to go and stand by their mates once they're in. That comes down to proper stewarding and people not being w***ers basically. It's very heavily policed in Germany and it works well. Also a factor to mention is that a rail seat would take up more room than a standard seat. So on European nights a ground with rail seats would lose capacity as opposed to if it had no rail seats in.

I think they're inflated when a club is resigned to selling. In the case of Kieta Red Bull would want 70 million if it was Cardiff City bidding. They don't give a f***. Players always have their agents sounded out. But doesn't it normally happen through intermediaries.
